I stood in front of our house waiting for Peter to pick me up for school. It's getting late.., I've been waiting for him more than fifteen minutes. Hell!! I hate him sometimes. I need to start using my car instead of waiting for others to pick me up and drop me. But I feel like I'm not a good driver, I almost crashed into a car in the parking lot when I went to a grocery store last time. Jeez! No one saw that. It was the last time I used my car.
I looked around impatiently then I saw Robert coming out of their house. He saw me waiting and opened his car door. Still ignoring? I looked away.
"Get in the car." He said looking through the window. I hate this sentence since I heard it from Betty. I shook my head rapidly saying no.
"Why?" He asked keeping his hands on the wheel.
"I'm waiting for Peter." I mumbled looking at his face.
"You will end up waiting." He said with a smirk and I frowned at him.
"Come on... it's getting late." He groaned.
"I told you I'm waiting for Peter, Robert." I said with a serious voice.
"Do I care? Let's go." He snapped. I'm getting late I have an important class today, I should not miss it.
"Fine!" I snapped and got into his car.
I texted Peter to inform that I'm on my way to school, so he doesn't have to drive to my house and stare at the empty street. I felt Robert eyes on me while texting and almost all the time. But I didn't dare to look at him. I stayed quiet, he got a call and like as usual he muted it. I never called him.. would he mute my calls also? I looked at his dashboard and noticed that he's using the keychain that I gifted. I snorted a laugh. He looked at me with confusion.
"Why are you laughing?" He asked glaring at me.
"That keychain.." I laughed. "Why are you using it?" I continued laughing.
"I told you it was special." He mumbled slowly. Ouch! Did I hurt him?
"I'm sorry." I said gently and he nodded looking at the road. He glanced at me intensively a couple of times.
"What are you looking at?" I questioned him feeling uncomfortable.
"Your collar bones." He grinned. I narrowed my eyes at him."Why are you elevating them?" He questioned me cheekily.
"I'm not elevating, you just stop staring at my parts." I said and covered my body with my hands. He chuckled looking at me.
"I like them." He mumbled. "Girls can easily be turned on by kissing there." He stated.
"Please stop talking about it.. it's one of my favourite in my body." I groaned and he laughed.
"Oh! Now I like it more." He said and smiled. I stayed silent sitting straight leaving my hands free.
"Will you..?" He paused, he pressed his hands on wheels.
"Are you hesitating?" I widened my eyes. He shook his head and "Will you come with?" He paused, "to the prom?" He asked. I widened my eyes.
"How can I come with you..?" I asked him with surprise. "You can if you want." He mumbled.
"Girls would line up for you." I stated and he chuckled but remained silent. I can go with him if I want, if our school doesn't conducts a junior year prom separately. But I have Peter. I stayed silent, I can't believe a boy like Robert asked me for prom. We are not even talking these days.. it's quite surprising.
Peter didn't attend school today, I checked my phone every five minutes but he didn't respond to any of my texts. The school went boring and Dina dropped me at home. I feel soo dependent on others, I need to change this.
