As I trudged out searching for air and space then I heard someone asking me am I okay. I turned back my neck to catch a glimpse of that person and he was Peter. In a cinematic way everything around me blurred out and I could only see his figure standing behind me. Our eyes met and I didn't break that eye contact until someone else patted on my shoulder. I looked straight to see Robert standing in front of me.
"Robert!" I smiled hesitantly as I caught him scowling at Peter.
"Can I have a talk with her?" Peter asked Robert as I stood in between them.
"What? You don't need to ask my permission." Robert rolled his eyes and looked away. I looked back at Peter and waited to hear what he wanna say.
"I'm sorry for that day. I shouldn't have talked like that." Peter said avoiding eye contact.
"Which day? What happened!" Robert asked in confusion.
"Can we have some privacy?" Peter snarled at Robert.
"No! I'm not going anywhere." Robert shrugged and Peter rolled his eyes. He looked back at me.
"Then stop interfering in between," Peter murmured.
"Okay fine," Robert mumbled.
"That's it. I just wanted to say sorry." Peter said to me.
"See ya!" Peter smiled at me and walked past me.
"Treat her well," Peter muttered to Robert as he passed him even without looking at him in an arrogant way.
"I'm better than you fucker." Robert shouted back at Peter making me laugh.
"Let's go!" I said giggling.
"What's going on?" Robert asked me as we started our drive back home.
"It's nothing. We encountered a few weeks ago, he said a few things." I shrugged.
"Few things? Like?" He queried.
"He said he didn't expect to break up with me, he said he wasn't happy to see me with you." I snapped.
"Did he say that? But who cares about his happiness?" Robert snarled feeling disturbed.
"And.. he said he's still in love with me. I thought he's back with Betty but he confirmed to me that he wasn't." I rambled looking out of the window.
"He said soo much!" Robert murmured looking at the road. He stopped the car aside and looked at me.
"Why didn't you say anything about this?" He inquired. I just shrugged.
"And you are still with me?" He questioned with a smirk.
"Yeah!" I smiled.
"Soo, you choose me over him?" He questioned and I frowned at him.
"Thanks!" He gleamed looking at me.
"Why are you thanking me?" I snickered.
"I don't know, I can't believe that you want to be with me than him. That feeling is making me happy. It's crazy." He said and flushed.
I looked into his eyes, he's truly happy I can see that. I wanted to say I love you, till now I never said that to him but now those words are dancing on my tongue but not coming out.
What am I scared of?
"I should thank you too," I mumbled.
"Why?" He questioned caressing my cheek.
"For being there for me all the time," I said with glistening eyes.
"No matter what... I'll be by your side." He said pulling me close and kissing me on my lips.
