Betty's words are still echoing in my head and I saw Peter waiting for me. I can't deal with this.
"Do you want me to talk with him?" Dina asked as she stopped her car in front of our house. I gave her a weak look and got off the car.
"I'm not talking with you, Peter." I fastened as soon as I got out of her car and walked straight into our house. I noticed it was empty. I tried to lock the main door. "Please let me in." Peter requested.
I left the door unlocked and walked upstairs to my room. I knew Peter would come after me.
"Ann?" He came into my room. "I told you, I don't want to talk with you." I snapped at him and crossed my hands.
"Firstly.. try to listen." He said quite seriously.
"You didn't let me speak yesterday." I threw my hands into the air.
"It's because I don't want you to be there. I don't want to see you in that position. I don't want the situation to get worse. You saw Betty right? How she behaved last night?" He said looking at me.
"But... You didn't believe me." I mumbled. "How can you say that?" He asked me.
"The look on your face." I snapped at him and he scowled at my words. "I mean the way you looked at me. You didn't believe my words, you believe her." I mumbled.
"I believe you, Anna, that's why I'm here." He confessed.
"No Peter. I guess you still love Betty, you are attracted to me. I might be just a summer thing." I spoke remembering Betty's words.
"Summer thing?" Peter let out.
"Yeah! You will end up running back to her." I said and looked away.
"What are you talking Anna. Does this even make any sense?" He growled making me gaze at him.
"For me, it does. You still love Betty." I mumbled. "No that's not true. I didn't trust her words, I came back for you Anna." He said.
"How am I gonna trust that you won't go back to her?" I asked him. "You have to believe me, I'm told soo many times that I'm over her, I don't want her." He snapped at me.
"Your words and actions don't match," I mumbled shaking my head.
"I left her and came back to you, and this is what I get?" He questioned me.
"You choose me now, you may choose her later," I stated.
"I didn't choose you, first of all, Betty is not even an option for me." He defended himself.
"But I can't trust you, your relationship with Betty is unpredictable," I mumbled and he frowned.
"You have to trust me, Anna. A relationship without trust doesn't work." He explained seriously gazing at me. Is it my fault?
"Why are you talking like I did something wrong? It's your mistake, act like that." I yelled at him.
"I didn't. I never expected what happened last night. We broke up and that's a fact." He yelled back making me speechless.
"Things may go wrong but you have to trust me. I saw you many times with Robert but did I questioned you?" He asked me.
"What? You have a doubt?" I uttered raising my eyebrows, I'm shocked at his words.
"No, because I trust you. I'm not blind, I notice everything that's going on in between you and him. But I chose to stay quiet because I trust you." He said. I felt honestly bad at his words. It made me soo mad.
