"Girls, I love you exactly how you are but just remember where we are. Be respectful."

A choruses of yes' and sure's followed the band manager as they coasted through the large hall that lead to the hotel they were to stay in.

Things were being set up in each large room they walked past, captivating the attention of each of them respectively. Mia and Margot lagged behind, trying to spot out anyone they recognised, while Nat and Evie glanced over to the rooms full of tables navigating where they would have to sit for meals and other things.

Summer kept a firm march ahead, leading them to their rooms. "Right. We occupy this section of the hotel, all of the rest of the uk team will be here too remember. Tonight, the first night you do not leave this area unless you're going outside, preparations downstairs and the arrival of other countries will be happening."

"So we can't go in eachothers rooms?" Natalia asked with her handbag full of duty free alcohol and stupid card games they had picked up on the way.

"Yes you can. But only eachothers and like I said be respectful of the other countries please. Germany is directly below you, Italy are along the hall, France are above you. I do not want any repeats of what happened on tour okay." The group seemed to get the message by the overall exasperated expression on Summers face. Summer hated the serious side things when she had to lecture the girls but she knew them too well and their riot like attitude often caused trouble.

The band split soon after and settled down in their rooms, unpacking somewhat and preparing for a disastrous sleepover in Evie's room. One by one they made their way to her room, bringing their laptops and alcohol and anything else they could find with them.

"Here's to nil points!" They cheered with four bottles of cheap beer as the toast, as you can tell they were very self aware of the fact the rest of Europe hated the uk and they seemed to be fine with it for the most part.

It was around 12, they had eaten some snacks as their dinner and they were slowly getting drunker by the minute. Nat and Evie were on their fifth staring contest while Margot and Mia watched videos of the other countries songs, eying up the competition.

"She is so hot..." Mia slurred watching her laptop intently.

"Who?!" Evie asked still on the floor, staring into her best friends dark brown eyes.

"Italy's bassist." Margot replied, also watching the screen.

"You already have one thing in common." Evie spoke, breaking her concentration and blinking again.

"Ha! I beat you again, you're so bad at this." Natalia beamed, leaning over to take another sip of her drink.

"Not gonna lie, they're actually pretty cool." Margot spoke up again.

"Who?" Evie asked, too tipsy to remember the conversation before.

"Italy! Jesus christ." Nat and Margot both replied, rolling their eyes.

"They're down the hall, you should go talk to them." Natalia suggested to Mia who was still sat admiring the Italian bassist.

"No no no." She hushed her friend, moving on to the next country on her list.

With hole playing loudly they danced around the hotel room enjoying the drunk Eurovision high that they we're already on.

Until they heard heavy thud from behind the door, the four of them stood in silence looking around unable to believe that they might have just fucked it all up on the first night.

Mia made her way to the door while the rest sat down pretending nothing had happened. The door cracked open and a man in a suit stood in front of a very unimpressed Summer.

"Shit." Evie muttered.

"Could you please turn the volume down, we have had a formal complaint from another country." The serious looking man said before smiling passive aggressively and moving away. Summer moved in quickly after, slamming the door behind her and sitting in the chair in the corner of the room.

"You know what, I expected nothing less from you." She sat with that Afghan coat on staring between all of them. Each of them felt that her glare knocked the alcohol straight out of them. "Germany complained, not that you would care."

"Come on Summer, we're not completely heartless." Mia replied.

"You're lucky you only got a warning." Summer added, "uhh, girls just go outside, get some fresh air and then sleep because I'm not dealing with this now." She ushered them out and headed to her own room.

"So now what, I don't want to go out in the cold." Mia whimpered.

"Then go to your room." Margot replied sharply, they were very close so no real offence was caused but it left Mia with a sour look on her face before trailing back to her own room.

"Come on then, I could die for a cigarette." Evie pushed past, rushing down the stairs and out through the fire escape.

"Jealousy jealousy!" Evie started singing loudly, much to the dismay of her two band mates.

"Be quiet Evie." Natalia whisper shouted, trying to catch up with the brunette.

"All I see, is what I'm not. Happier. Prettier. Jealousy Jealousy!" She sang between attempts in lighting her cigarette.

"People are watching you." Nat said looking towards the building to see three faces hanging out a window.

"It's Italy." Margot whispered to Natalia, worried that Evie would embarrass them.

"Pretty face, pretty boyfriend too. Jealousy jealo-" this time Margot caught her, and grabbed her mouth to stop her singing loudly again.

"It's the English." A male voice said, followed by a female voice saying "we like your song!"

"Thank you, we like yours too." Natalia replied before hurrying Evie inside, hoping she wouldn't say anything else.

"Sometimes I wish you'd just shut your mouth." Margot added, following them back to their rooms.

"You wouldn't be here if I kept my mouth shut." Evie scoffed, rolling her eyes and falling into her room.
