"Let me in. Let me in please." Evie spoke in a somewhat hushed tone, banging on the door of her guitarists bedroom.

"Ugh, what's the matter?" Natalia finally spoke after opening her door.

"Is there anyone else in there?" Evie asked paranoid as she heard something move behind her friend.

"Yeah, Mia and Margot and umm Victoria." Nat rambled on, moving to see the girls behind her in her room.

"Well, I need to talk to you now." Evie hurried, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the hallway and away from other hotel doors.

"Seriously what's up?"

"I kissed him." Evie whispered aggressively to her childhood best friend.

"You what. Wait, Damiano?"

"Yes, Damiano. I-uhh-we we went to a bar and it was all fine, I barely drank, and then I showed him my tattoos and then he asked to kiss me and I said yes please and we kissed." She continued to ramble on, ignoring Natalia's growing smile.

"Evie. What did I tell you." Nat smiled, looking at her friend as if she was a proud mother.

"Shut up, what do I do?"

"Nothing, he asked to kiss you and you said yes. Both of you wanted that, what could be so wrong." Evie sighed, unable to comprehend that she showed an actual interest in a man she liked for once.

Nothing else was said between the two and Evie walked of sulking to her bed, letting her mind run wild with thoughts about her new obsession.

Waking up the next morning to Summer sat in the corner of her room was never a nice feeling for Evie as it usually was due to something she had done while drunk the night before, and that morning was no different.

Evie stretched out her arms and sat up straight in her bed pulling her thoughts together and preparing herself for the lecture she was about to receive from the mother like figure sat poised in her room. Hesitating to open her eyes fully she sat thinking for another moment or two about the kiss, she knew it happened and remembered it lasting just short of a minute yet the whole situation felt like some odd, distant fever dream.

Excusing herself from dwelling on it she looked up finally making eye contact with her manager who looked sternly at the younger girl.

"Evie. As a friend I'm happy for you and think it's lovely that you've found friends and umm... yes, but as your manager I have been advised by our pr team that you need to turn your attention to someone other than the Italians."

"But... I only spent yesterday with them, well yeah. The other girls have spent forever with them." She argued struggling with her words in her tired haze.

"Yes I know and I've spoken to them too but I've devised a plan." Summer seemed to just lecture Evie to which she put up no fight. "Today you have more press for the eurovision channels so you can meet some of the other acts, then tomorrow is second rehearsals and your last press conference before the final and then you have a whole week before the finals to mingle with other countries and Italy." She set out, leaning forward in her chair to tell Evie despite her taking little in.

"Okay." She replied simply and peeled herself from the bed, in desperate need for a shower and a chat with Natalia.

After taking a hot shower and ushering Summer out of her room, Evie was ready. She stood in front of the mirror with two outfits in her hands for a good while, forever indecisive on what to wear.

Finally she settled on a bralette top and a long silk skirt with the same cardigan from the night before, it was a little revealing for an average day of press but who was Evie without a little bit of a risk.
