For most of Joseph's life and for the lives of the many children of Bunker-30 of the Alaskan State, the history of the place he and many others grew up in was not openly told to them but that didn't bother Joseph and his friends that much as they were just kids focused on things like playing. Joseph was nice. energetic kid, he was always one to push his limits to show off or in defense but was never one to incite.

Joseph's friend circle was small but lively only including him, his friend Michael Smith who always loved machines and how they worked and always being a stickler for rules.

His other friend James Dove, there was this game between the group would play whenever they would meet James and bet if he was talking to a girl, this always ended in disaster, James was a diligent student when it came to his studies but when it came to anything romance-related, he was as smooth as the princes in fairy tales.

And lastly, the group's only female and James' twin sister, Josephine Dove, was a sporty kid through and through, beating the boys of the group when it came to anything physical being it sports or exercise, she was rowdy and energetic and was always the one who made the group of friends go on wild adventures.

This group of friends first met in the 2nd Grade and that would've been where the beginnings of this group of friends that soon after meeting become inseparable.

At the age of 10, Joseph and all the other children were rounded up into town square where all the most important adults in Bunker-30 made an announcement "The history of Bunker-30 will be made open to the children in 6 years in the middle of the Welcoming Ceremony of the Batch that is going that year". This announcement came out of nowhere and shocked most of the children at the time but Joseph and his friends didn't mind it that much and chose to ignore it but they couldn't help but feel a little excited.

And the years flew by like floating leaves inwind....
