I organize and arrange my herbs for my spells in my desk. I didn't want to keep dreading what I could've prevented. 3 knocks on my doors chambers full the room making me jump a bit. I clean up the last bit of my work before seeing Loki let himself in. "I'm happy it's you here and not Allfather." I say to him as he walks in a bit more. "How are you feeling?" He asks me. I shrug as I walk to my terrace, him following, "I feel as if.." I stop and lean on the column, staring into Asgard. "..I could've prevented his banishment." I finish with another shrug, trying not to show too much emotion. "How's Fandral?" I ask.
"Healed. Better now that we got back in time..Sif and the Three Baboons wanted to see how you were doing, if you were up to join us for a moment." Loki says stepping closer and putting a hand on the center of my back. I squint my eyes at him a bit. "What are you doing?" I ask him. He was never a physical type person.
I always wanted to hug as a child, losing a family and everything.. but all that would suffice for him was a handshake.
"Consolidation, I suppose." He says with a small shrug. "Loki, you haven't attempted to lay a finger on me after all these years.." I turn towards him not realizing how close it would make us become. "This is different...He was my brother and I think after what's played out..we need to stay together."
He took a step closer making himself inches away from me. "Let's get to the group shall we?" I ask, uncomfortable by the distance, taking a step back to walk off the terrace. I see him form a small smirk before following me.

"We should never have let him go." I say sitting by Sif. We all felt guilt and had no way of knowing how to fix the series of events.
"There was no stopping him." Sif says laying a hand on my knee.
"Well, at least he's only banished, not dead. Which is what we'd all be if that guard hadn't told Odin where we'd gone." Fandral says to us shirtless and wrapped up. Hogan walks to run a enchanted oils I'd made for Volstagg's freeze on his arm. "How did the guard even know?" Volstagg asks us after wincing at the application.
"I told him." Loki says making us all turn.
"What?"
"I told him to go to Odin after we'd left. He should be flogged for taking so long. We should never have reached Jotunheim." Loki went on making me feel confused. "You told the guard?" Volstagg asks loudly.
"I saved our lives.. And Thor's. I had no idea Father would banish him for what he did."
Sif stands and walks past me to come closer to Loki, "Loki. You must go to the Allfather and convince him to change his mind." She begs.
"And if I do, then what? I love Thor more dearly than any of you, but you know what he is.. He's arrogant. He's reckless. He's dangerous. You saw how he was today. Is that what Asgard needs from its king?" Loki looks at me for a moment before turning and walking out of the room.
"He may speak of the good of Asgard, but he's always been jealous of Thor." Sif says to us making me raise an eyebrow at the accusation.
"We should be grateful to him, he saved our lives." Volstagg says seeing to better side.
"Laufey said," Hogun starts, "there were traitors in the House of Odin. A master of magic could bring three Jotuns into Asgard."
Another accusation made me stand in disbelief. "How can you make such the accusation? Loki's always been one for mischief, but you're talking about something else entirely!" I shout making everyone freeze and look at me. I couldn't be in that room anymore. I quickly walk to follow Loki.
I couldn't completely catch up to him but I'd make my way to the weapons vault once again. I down the steps to see Loki walking towards the Casket. I step forward a bit more as he lifts it up a bit. "You shouldn't have followed, Thalia." He says not turning around making me stop. "I-"
"STOP!" Allfather's booming voice rang in the vault making both Loki and I freeze. "Am I cursed?" He asks, not turning around.
"No."
"What am I?"
"You're my son." Allfather answers. Loki slowly turns around as blue skin has formed on his body. A frost giant.. "What more than that?" Loki questions, turning back to his normal form. I turn to Odin who seemed at a loss for an answer. "The Casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?" I ask him too as Loki made his way to stand by me.
"No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple and I found a baby...Small for a giant's offspring. Abandoned, suffering, left to die...Laufey's son."
"Laufey's son." Loki repeats, shocked by the answer. "Yes." I quickly hold his hand to support him making him quickly glance at me.
"Why? You were knee-deep in Jotun blood,
why would you take me?" Loki asks turning back to Odin.
"You were an innocent child."
"No. You took me for a purpose. What was it?" Loki asks but Odin gives no answer ask Loki welled up tears. "Tell me!" He screams to Odin.
"..I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day..Bring about an alliance, bring about permanent peace...Through you."
"What?"
"But those plans no longer matter-."
"So I am no more than another stolen relic, locked up here until you might have use of me." Loki gradually gets louder with his words, letting go of my hand in frustration.
"Why do you twist my words?"
"You could have told me what I was from the beginning, why didn't you!?"
"You're my son. I wanted only to protect you
from the truth."
"Because I'm the monster parents tell their children about at night?!"
"- No, no." Odin slowly begins to sit on the steps seeming exhausted. "Loki, please.." I said but it was too quiet over his anger.
"- You know, it all makes sense now! Why you favored Thor all these years!" Loki moves closer to him but Odin just comes closer to the ground. "Because no matter how much you claim to love me, you could never have a Frost Giant
sitting on the throne of Asgard!" Finally Odin had seemed to fall into a sleep with no response. I hurry to the other side of him as Loki stood above him on the other.
"Guards! Guards, please, help!"

Odin was taken into the healing room and we couldn't see him for a moment. Loki and I stood outside of the room with the door opened both worried and confused. I look to Loki who seemed more hurt by what's happened. "Loki..-"
"Don't give me pity, Thalia." He tells me in a low voice. "This doesn't make you any less of a person you were before you found out." I say but Loki quickly moves close to me as I stood against a wall, away from Friggas view. "You will not tell anyone, Thalia, understand?" He says with rage but almost as if he was desperate. My heart was beating out of its chest from the distance. "You're not going to hurt me, Loki." I smirk.
"I will if it gets in my way. You won't tell anyone."
"..Not my place, your highness." I say with a straight face back. "What we know of me being some monster..couldn't just hurt you, it could hurt my mother too."
I could notice him glancing at my lips as we spoke. "You're not a monster, Loki.. Not to me." I tell him with a small smile.
Suddenly, I'm pulled in for a passionate kiss before Loki pulls back away from me. "I'm sorry.. I-"
"Took you long enough." I give a small smirk making Loki feeling comfortable again. We move back into the room with Odin. I sit beside Odin, Loki at the foot of the bed, and Frigga gives us a small, knowing, look. Nothing could get by her. Doors at the end of the room open quickly making both of us jump to look. Guards kneel before Loki, as another man walks in with Odin's Staff. I look to Frigga for a moment as she has a small smile to Loki. The man kneels and hold the Staff to Loki. He turns to look at his mother. "Thor is banished, the line of success falls to you. Until Odin awakens Asgard.. is yours." I look to Loki surprised by the news. He gives me a look for a moment as I smiled and nodded for him to go on.
He turns back around and slowly takes the Staff. "Make your father proud," Frigga says as hw turns back to us, "My King."

Loki sat on the throne as I enter on the side of the room but Sif's voice stops me for a moment. "Allfather, we must speak with you urgently." They finally enter to see Loki instead of Odin.
"My friends." Loki smiles to them. I finally enter pass the guards at the bottom of the steps to the throne, and stand on the side of Loki, with a straight face to the ones who accused Loki.
"Where's Odin?" Fandral asks as they all move closer.
"Father has fallen into the Odinsleep. Mother fears he may never awaken again."
"We would speak with her." Sif states.
"She has refused to leave Allfather's bedside." I answer her as I enter, making her crease her eyebrows to me.
"You can bring your urgent matter to me." Loki stands up from the throne and sets the Staff on the ground. "Your King."
They look at each other before slowly kneeling, placing a closed fist upon their hearts.
"My King, we would ask that you end Thor's banishment." Sif proposes making me quickly look to Loki for an answer, hoping he would.
"My first command cannot be to undo the Allfather's last.." I lower my head back down as he moves down the steps towards our friends.
"We're on the brink of war with Jotunheim. Our people need a sense of continuity, in order to feel safe in these difficult times. All of us must stand together for the good of Asgard."
Sif stands up quickly to move to Loki but Fandral holds her back, still kneeling. "Yes, of course." He tells Loki.
"Good. Then you will wait for my word."
"If I may," Volstagg adds in, "beg the indulgence of Your Majesty to perhaps reconsider..."
"We're done!" Loki states making them stand with Sif. They look at Loki before the boys turn to walk away but Sif stands for a moment and gives me a look.
I could remember practicing battle strategies with her as young adolescents. She gives me a nod before turning and walking with the rest of them.
