Hazel's dad POV!!!

My daughter Hazel came running into the house crying. "Honey, what's wrong?" I asked her.
She simply kept crying and picked up Raina from my arms.
"My boss, he doesn't like my weight." She whispered.

I immediately got angry. "I think I should have a chat with him." I say while squeezing my eyebrows together.

"No!" She quickly yelled and Raina started crying. "I might get fired, please daddy, I can't get fired."

She made a puppy dog face and I smiled.

"Fine, but if I see you crying about that guy again I'm going to beat him to black and blue."

She smiled. "Thanks daddy!" She walked to the back room to feed Raina and clean her.

The next day.....
"Daddy! I'm going to work." She said.

"Okay, bye. Have a nice day." I watch as she leaves.

Hazel.
The nice NEW handsome boy at the desk helped me around. "This is the bathroom and across the hall is the lunch area where ALL the staff go so don't worry if its crowded." He said with a smile and a british accent.

"Thanks so much, by the way my name is Hazel."

He smiled. "I'm Jake."
"Well I should get to work."

"Yeah, me too."
I sit in my cubicle and that's when Parker walks up. He reeked of beer and sex.
"Hey baby!" He slurred his words.
"I'm not your damn baby!"
"Why you so mean baby?"
"Maybe because you can't accept my baby?!"
"I hate kids."
"Well they hate you too."
I turn back to work and ignore him.
"Well then fuck you bitch." He said before walking off with a cig in his mouth.
A couple of minutes later Jake comes back.
"Hey Hazel, me and some friends are going out to dinner tonight. Want to come?" He asked.
"Sure, but one question.."
"What?"
"Do you like kids?" I asked.
"I LOVE kids! They are so cute." He said.
We both chuckled and exchanged numbers.
"Well see ya later." I said.
"Yeah bye."
I know this may sound early but I think I was liking this guy WAYYY more than Parker.
