Choices

//Chapter 4//

I woke up in Nash's room and forgot where I was at first. I then remembered last night with Cameron and Matthew. I figured I needed to talk to Cameron today and make sure we can just be friends. I walked down the hallway to the kitchen which is connected to the living room to see Matthew, Nash and Hayes still sleeping. I didn't see Cameron and wondered where he went. I suddenly felt warm air on the back of my neck and someone said "boo." Well, I found Cameron.

"Hey I wanted to talk about yesterday, look I'm really sorry about running off I kind of over reacted a lot and I just got out of a relationship a while ago and I'm just trying to completely get over it." I blurted out before he could even get a word out.

"It's fine I shouldn't have done that either and I hope we can start over and be not as awkward friends again."

"That sounds great" I replied with a smile and hugged him.

"There are pancakes in the kitchen if you want some"

"Thanks!"

I went out to the kitchen and got some pancakes. I ate my pancakes and decided I needed to obnoxiously wake up Matthew and Nash. I sat down next to where Nash had fallen asleep on the couch and started poking his face. I repeatedly poked his face harder each time until he woke up and hit me with a pillow. Then we both decided to be our annoying selves and jump on top of Matthew to wake him up.

"On the count of three 1...2...3..."

And with that we jumped on top of Matthew and he did nothing. He didn't even budge. He just sat there and didn't move at all. We figured we could just hit him with pillows and it would be equally effective. We all started hitting him with pillows including Cameron until he woke up.

"You're a really deep sleeper," I said to Matthew

"Or you're just really bad at waking people up," he replied sassily.

"I JUMPED ON TOP OF YOU," I shouted trying to be as un-dirty as possible.

"Well I wish I would've been awake to see that then." He said while grinning and I punched him in the arm while we both laughed.

I decided I was going to run down to my house and just pack a bunch of things to stay at Nash's house for the rest of the week. I mean it's not like my parents are home or anything. I love hanging out with Nash and Matthew and Cam and everyone else. It's gonna suck when they leave for magcon next week. I'll be at the house for all of summer by myself. Magcon is only for three weeks but then all of the magcon guys are going on a bus tour around the county.

I told everyone I would be back in about 20 minutes and I headed home.

When I got to my house I went upstairs to my room and I heard a creaking noise downstairs. At first I figured it was just my cat until I heard it a few more times. I grabbed a knife that I keep in my bedroom just for emergencies and slowly walk down the stairs. I turned the corner and started walking in the kitchen when someone forcefully grabbed me from behind and turned me around. I couldn't believe my eyes when I turned to see...
