Everybody sat in a circle on the floor. I sat next to Taylor and Nash. Everybody had gotten pretty close over the week or so that we’ve been together. We started taking turns asking truth or dare. I personally was paying no attention until I heard my name.
“Kaylee, truth or dare?” Cameron asked, of course he did.
“Uhh dare…” I know you probably think that was stupid. If I would have said truth he would have asked me if I was dating Matt because I could tell me was upset.
“I dare you to go in our room with me for 10 minutes.”
Crap.
“uhhh okay?” I said and stood up. Everyone either looked at me or gave me awkward looks. I was walking out the door with Cameron behind me when I heard one of the guys yell.
“Get some Cameron.”
Cameron laughed a little bit and shook his head.
Someone please shoot me in the face. This was going to be very weird.
We walked into our room and he shut the door.
“So umm what exactly did I walk into?” he asked. It wasn’t like he was mad at me just confused.
“Umm… Well… we weren’t going to tell anybody until later but uhh… Matt and I are kind of together.” Gosh this was awkward and I felt terrible because for a second I saw Cameron’s face fall. He quickly picked it back up as if nothing happened.
“Oh, well can I do something?” he asked and looked up from the floor.
“What is…” a pair of soft lips were placed onto mine. I opened my eyes stunned, I didn’t know what to do. He quickly pulled away and looked back down at the floor.
“I had to one last time, I’m sorry.”
I had no words and I didn’t know what to say until an idea came into my mind.
“Let’s not talk about this.” He said still looking at the floor.
“Okay,” is all I could manage to say. I sat on my bed and got lost in my thoughts. I looked at my phone and it was 12 we came in here at 11:55 so I still had to be in here for five minutes. Unless I asked Cameron if we could leave.
“Hey Cameron,”
“Yes?”
“Can we leave?”
“Yeah,”
And then we left.
