//Chapter 1//

Kaylee's pov:

A loud beeping noise suddenly made me shoot right up out of bed. It was Wednesday June 4th. My last day of school. I guess I shoud introduce myself. My name is Kaylee Brookes. I'm 16 years old. I have long brown ombre hair that comes down to right above my belly button. I'm about 5 foot 3 inches and average weight. I have bright green eyes. My family has always said it looks like an alien switched my eyes with his.

My moms sister is Nash Grier's mom. Nash and Hayes are my cousins and I'm really close with Nash, he's like the big brother I never had. Well that's enough for now.

I walked into the bathroom connected to my room and started to brush out my dark brown hair that faded into blonde at the end. I liked how my hair wasn't just brown and then blonde like it was just separated and died in 2 parts. It faded into blonde instead so it was more of a dramatic ombre effect. Since it was 6:30 and I didn't have to be at school untill 8:30 I decided to take a shower.

Once I was done I blow dried my hair and started to pick out an outfit. I went to my closet and picked out a black short sleeve shirt with red and pink rose type flowers on it and light high wasted shorts. I tucked in my shirt and went back into the bathroom. I decided to straighten my hair and pin a section in the front back with a twist.

I started on my makeup. All I did was put a skin colored shadow on my lid and a brown in the crease. Then I put on eyeliner on the top lash line and curled my lashes. Fininshing it off with mascara and lip balm.

I then turned everthing off and walked downstairs into the kitchen. I made myself a bowl of cereal then sat down and watched some Law and Order SVU. By the time I was done it was still only 7:45, I still had about 30 minutes before I needed to leave for school so I decided to text Nash.

Kaylee: hey there loser :) watcha doing haha

Nash: hey bigger loser :) im texting you obviously

Kaylee: ok whatever but im bored so your gonna text me u have no choice

Nash: ok but i have a question

Kaylee: what is it?

Nash: cam's coming from california tonight and we were gonna hang out do u wanna come to my house after school ?

I thought about cameron. I've never met him in person but I've been with Nash while they skyped so I somewhat knew him. I decided it would be nice to acually meet the person I've kinda talked to for about a year.

Kaylee: sure i'll ask my mom but I'm sure she won't care:)

Nash: ok i'll see you there i have to go get ready to leave c u at school.

Kaylee: baiii

I picked up my bag and looked at the clock. It was about 8 so I decided I would spend my extra 15 minutes and go to starbucks.

Once I go to school I saw Nash and hurried on up to him. I tried to scare him but he aready knew I was there.

"You're a loud walker" Nash turned around and said when I was right behind him.

"Whatever. So what time do you want me to leave tonight." I asked because I knew my mom would ask. Even though Nash is my cousin she's still protective of me. She thinks I'll get attacked walking home and stuff like that. Especially since Camerons gonna be there this time.

"You can just stay the night if you want." he replied.

" Okay"

Suddenly the bell rang and it was time for school. Since it was the last day all of the teachers just let us go on our phones and do whatever. It was acually pretty fun considering my phone is my best friend. Finally the last bell rang and it was time to go home. I walked home to find a note on my counter from my mom saying to call her. Confused I called her off of my home phone. She answered the phone to say that my dads sister had gotton really sick so they were in New York with her. I would be alone for the next month or two. Well nice way to start off the summer. Since they weren't gonna be there I decided to go to Nash's without asking. I packed my bag and headed out the door.

a/n: Well hello beautiful people of wattpad it's me and I say hi. So hi. Well this is my first story on wattpad and I'm sorry if theres any mistakes so far. Well this takes longer than I thought. I just ended school too so I should be updating a lot. Sorry this chapter is probably really boring but it will get better. Well thanks for reading baiii.
