We ran through the halls, everyone going different ways.  We had two minutes before Aaron was going to come try to find us.  I ran around until I caught up to Matt.  We ran across the hall and into an elevator.  It was empty and we didn’t see anyone else around.  He hugged me and whispered to me.

“I missed you,”

“I was only gone for the night Matt,” I laughed at him.

“That’s too long and I want to spend every second with you,” he said.  I felt my insides literally melt because he was too cute.

I smiled into his chest.  I came up to about his shoulders because he was tall and I was short.  We looked at each other and he leaned in to kiss me.  I kissed him back.  The elevator door started to close and we broke apart.  I glanced out of the corner of my eye to see a figure looking into the elevator as it closed. When I turned my head a saw a stunned Cameron with a look of hurt on his face.  There was a tiny gap left between the elevator doors and he stood there with that sad look until they closed.  Matt looked back at me and he had the same expression I did.

We didn’t know who he would tell before we got back or if he would tell anyone at all.  We didn’t really want anyone to know and make a big deal out of our relationship. Plus it wasn’t even a day old.  I mean sure we had been flirting for a while but it wasn’t official until yesterday.

I also wondered about the look he gave me.  He looked upset and I couldn’t tell if it was jealousy in his eyes or disappointment but it burned holes into me. Did he still like me? What if coming to Magcon was a bad idea.  This might create drama that I didn’t want.

“You don’t think he would tell anyone would he?” Matthew interrupted me from my thoughts.

“I don’t know.” I replied still confused about what was going to happen.

Matt must have seen the worry on my face because I hugged me and then said, “ Everything’s going to be okay, don’t worry.”

He smiled at me with his cute little smile and I smiled back. The elevator moved down to the third floor.  Three were seven floors in this hotel and we were on the top one.  We both ran out of the elevator and dashed through the halls holding hands.  We were both running loudly and laughing until Matt stopped and we both quieted down.  He looked around the corner and told me to run up to the closet a few steps ahead of us.  Aaron must have been around the corner cause he followed me and we got into the closet together.

I looked around to see cleaning supplies and rags of all sorts of colors. Great, we were in the janitors closet, how romantic. The closet was a decent size, not too big not too small.  There were little bottles of air fresheners everywhere and other cleaning supplies.  I was looking around and started to smell lavender.  I turned around and Matthew was on the other side spraying a bunch of air fresheners.

“Matt what are you doing?” I scolded him, I sounded like a nagging mom.

He looked at me and then put the bottles back onto the shelf.   We waited about five minutes and said it was safe to go out.  Frist Matt opened the door and we sprinted out.  We ran down the halls and into a staircase.  No one was there so we sat in the middle of the steps.  It had been about a half an hour of us talking about random stuff before we figured we were the last ones left.  We walked up to the floor we were on holding hands.  I loved holding Matt’s hand because mine fit perfectly into it.  Once we got to out rooms they were all sitting on the beds eating goldfish.

“Hey you all left us out there.”  I said in a fake sad voice.

“We got tired of looking and gave up.” Gilinsky replied.

“Well thanks.” I stated with a straight face.

I walked into the room and sat next to Hayes on the bed with Aaron.  The whole group just talked the whole time and ate goldfish.  Every once and a while I would look over to see Cameron giving me looks like the one he gave me at the elevator.  Maybe I made a bad choice in dating Matt.  I mean I want to and it shouldn’t be this big of a deal considering the fact it hasn’t even been a day which makes me more upset that there’s already issues with it. I think we should tell the guys in the next few days.  Telling them would be easier than keeping it from them and it seemed like the better option.  I figured I would talk to Matt about it soon.

“Kaylee?”

“Huh?” I heard someone talking and it snapped me out of my thoughts.

“Will you please play truth or dare with us.” Taylor asked since I hadn’t played last time.

“I guess.” I said. I was sort of nervous about this.  Hopefully nothing bad would happen.
