Karna is walking fastly in the corridors of queen's palace,  he is going to meet rajmata kunti, to stop them from going varnavat,

A bright light, form Infront of him, he opens his eyes there stood suryadeva with all his glow

Karna,  I waiting this day for years, when my son will call me,  then only I can come Infront of you, putr.

Suryadeva!  Am I your son?  That means rajmata kunti is my mother.

Yes putr!  Rishi durvasa give boon to kunti, that by chanting the mantra teach by durvasa, she can invoke any devas and they have to give son to her with a quality of the deva. In curiosity,  before marriage she invoke me,  and I give you to her as my blessing, your not just a son of me but your one part of me karna, but sake of her father reputation she abandoned you in ganga, to protect I give you this kavach and kundal,  mata ganga take you safely to radha and adirath who is the great devotee of me.
