Chapter 18

•Next morning•

All the Stray Kids members have been up and about since 7. They have early schedules today so they had to wake up early and prepare. Currently, they're all in the kitchen having breakfast and trying to get information about what happened last night with you, San, and Chan.

"So... I heard you took Y/N and San to bed last night and made them comfortable." Jisung says, while giving Chan a little look. Chan looks up at him and doesn't say anything and just continues to pick at his breakfast.

"Chan, come on~ Jeongin, Seungmin and I clearly saw you take them to bed. You even talked to San and you had a smile on your face!" Felix exclaims, while pointing his fork at Chan.

"HE TALKED TO SAN AND SMILED?!" Hyunjin exclaims, his jaw and utensil dropping.

"Yes I did. He was being cute... Now keep it down, they're still asleep." Chan replies, his cheeks getting a little rosy.

"I don't know about y'all but.. I think someone is warming up to San~" Changbin sings, teasingly.

"Nope. Nope. Absolutely not. I'm not warming up to the boy. I just took him to bed because it was cold down here." Chan quickly objects, while shaking his head.

"Oh, please. The way you held him close and the way he clinged onto you was adorable! You can't tell us you're not warming up to him!" Jeongin exclaims, while setting his utensil down on his plate.

"The only reason I held him close is because he was getting tired and was freezing. I just warmed him up a bit." Chan defends, while refusing to make eye contact with any of the members.

"So your telling me... The whole wholesome moment you had with San last night... Meant nothing?" Felix asks, while raising an eyebrow

"Nope. Look guys... Y'all should know how overprotective I am. Especially when it comes to Y/N! I practically raised her when she came to JYP as a trainee! I took her under my wing and helped her during her journey here damn it! And even if San is an artist, I still don't trust him. You all should know that the personality that artists show to their fans can be fake. What happened last night was a one time thing because I was tired and had my guard down. The only reason I was worried about him is because he was close to shivering due to it being absolutely freezing down here."

"Well you might not trust him but me and the guys do. We think that he's perfect for Y/N and he'll take proper care of her. They look perfect together and I know he's a really good guy."

"Well y'all might trust him but I don't. Not yet. He's gotta prove to me that I can trust him. But until then, I'm not trusting him. I'm sorry but I really don't. I just want to protect her, alright?" Chan grabs his plate and glass and gets up to put them in the sink before speaking up."I'm getting dressed for practice. Someone wake up Y/N and San." Chan makes his way upstairs to go to his shared bedroom as the rest of the members look at each other.

"I'll wake them up." Hyunjin insists, with a smile.

"Hyunjin, you'll scare them instead of waking them up." Felix says, while looking up at the older.

"Fine. Should we let Jeongin wake them then?"

"Go wake them up." Changbin says, while pointing his utensil upstairs.

Hyunjin lets out a mischievous giggle before he runs off to go upstairs. All the members exchange looks once again before they all decide to follow him. Hyunjin slowly opens the guest bedroom and quietly makes his way towards the bed, only to see you and San fast asleep, still clinging onto each other.
