Chapter 9

•Time skip- After y'all's performance•

Y'all's performance was soon over in the blink of an eye. You all separated from y'all's ending pose and formed a line to thank the staff and camera crew. You and the members walked off the stage and you immediately slipped your in-ears, headset, monitor receiver, and mic transmitter off and handed all of it to a staff. All the members crowded you with huge smiles and you looked at all of them, a little smile creeping onto your lips.

"Look at you! You're an absolute pro at this!" Yeji exclaims, while playfully nudging your shoulder.

"Why were you so nervous? You killed it out there! Your rap.. UGH chefs kiss!" Ryujin adds, while leaning her head back the slightest.

"Really? I did good?" You ask, with a little smile as you rub the back of your neck rather shyly.

"Good? Words can't even describe how amazing you were out there!" Chaeryeong exclaims, with a happy jump. Your smile seems to widen and you let out a faint giggle as the members give you pats on the back and top of the head.

"You did absolutely amazing. We're gonna go drop off our mics and stuff. You wanna head up to the waiting room and wait for us?" Yeji asks, while slipping her in-ears out.

"Yeah. I'll head up. See y'all in a few." You reply, while nodding your head. You wave goodbye to the members and quickly leave the main stage area. You suddenly remember that you needed to meet up with Yunho so you run up the stairs to y'all's waiting room. You see Yunho leaning against the wall by y'all's room and you walk up to him with a little smile.

"Hey YuYu." You greet, while slightly waving to him.

"Hey Y/N! You absolutely KILLED it out there! Great job!" Yunho replies, as he turns to face you, a huge smile evident on his lips. He gives you a high five and a shy smile appears on your lips in an instant.

"Thanks. That means a lot. But uhh.. what did you want to ask me?"

"Oh right, I was wondering... if we could maybe exchange numbers?.. You don't have to say yes if you don't want to."

"No, no, no. I'd happily exchange numbers with you."

Yunho smiles a huge puppy-like smile before taking his phone out of his pocket. You take your phone out yourself and you both exchange phones. You enter your phone number and type in your name and hand Yunho's phone back to him.

"Sweet! Thanks a lot! Hopefully we can chat and get to know each other better." Yunho thanks, while handing your phone back to you. You nod your head as he gives you another puppy-like smile, causing you smile at his cuteness.

"Pup! Come on! We're headed out!" Hongjoong calls, while waving his hand towards him.

"Coming!" Yunho yells back, while looking the rest of the members. He turns back around to face you and does a little shrug before chuckling. "I gotta go. I'll text you later, promise. Golden Retriever, out!"

You watch him with a little smile as he runs off down the hall and out the door with the rest of his members.

•10 minutes earlier in ATEEZ's waiting room•

The second the members departed from you and ITZY and entered their waiting room, tension quickly filled the air. You see... Hongjoong and Seonghwa got into an argument recently and they haven't been talking to each other despite the members trying to get them to. Hongjoong tried to apologize for starting the argument when their comback date neared due to fearing that the tension will get in the way of work but Seonghwa continued to ignore him. So, the younger just leaned against the wall a little awkwardly and sent multiple glances at Seonghwa who's changing his top from the opposite side of the room.
