"Okay... What am I doing in here?-"
"You're gonna be recording a cover. What else would you be doing?" JYP interrupts, while shutting the door behind you.
"Wait.. I don't remember us talking about me doing this." You say, while slipping your hands inside your pockets.
"Well if I told you, you would decline."
"Well I might. Now, what EXACTLY am I doing?"
"Well, I thought it'd be a good idea for you to make covers. Specifically K-Pop covers. So you are going to rapping, singing, AND dancing. It'll be a great way for me to make more money and hopefully it can help ITZY gain more fans."
"Wait, wait, wait... So YOU can make more money?"
"I clearly said us. Your ears must be deceiving you."
"Mm-hmm... But uhh... How do you even know that I can sing?"
"I'm guessing you don't remember this but... A little before promotions, you and the members went to a karaoke place in Incheon. You all recorded each other singing and rapping songs and y'all posted them on Twitter. I CLEARLY remember you singing Tears by So Chanwhee. Your video pretty much blew up. You don't remember that?"
"No, I don't remember..."
"Well, you can check it out later when we're done recording. Now let's cut to the chase here. You are going to be recording a cover of Ddaeng by BTS. It'll suit you pretty well and it will gain a lot of attention. You should know the song already but here are the lyrics if you don't. Read through them, go back over them in your head, and we will start recording in about 5 minutes." JYP explains, while handing you sheets of lyrics. You nod your head and take the papers and sit down the the couch and start to read the lyrics.
"Oh, and before I forget. This is Kevin, Kevin Moon. He will be helping you record your covers." You look up and see Kevin turn around in the chair in front of you. You both wave to each other and he gives you a warm smile.
"Hello Y/N. It's a pleasure to meet you." Kevin greets, with a little smile.
"Hello Kevin. Quick question... You're Kevin Moon from The Boyz right?" You reply.
"Yes I am. I'm actually in the middle of promoting 'The Stealer' with the members but we're on a little break right now."
"Well... what brings you here to JYP?"
"I've been wanting to help people record for a while now so I found a part time job here at JYP."
"You don't want to do too much during promotions. Take break in between so you won't lose your energy."
"I know, I know. I'll be taking breaks, don't worry."
"Okay, okay you two! Y'all can talk when the recording is finished. Y/N, get in the recording booth." JYP orders, while rolling his chair closer to Kevin's.
You and Kevin look over at JYP, then back at each other before you stand up and make your way inside the recording booth. You set the lyric sheets on the stand in front of you and slip the headphones on. After a few minutes of doing a few test runs, you finally start recording Ddaeng. Long story short, Kevin was hyping you up the entire time.

•Time skip•"Okay, that's a wrap. You have finished your recording, good job. You may leave now." JYP announces, while slipping his headset off. You nod your head and slip your headphones off and hang them on the stand before walking out of the recording booth.
