Leigh stood in the kitchen as Simon walked in and smiled
"are you okay. You seem off" he said as she looked to him and smiled
"I'm good. I'm tired but I am fine. I was just thinking over the scan later" she said as Simon looked to her and smiled
"I know. I know that you are scared but it will be okay and you are not alone I promise you" he said as she looked to him and smiled
"I know I just keep thinking over the baby we are having and part of me thinks over Tom and if he was alive and if it was his how excited he'd be..I'm sorry i know I talk about him a lot" Leigh said as Simon looked to her and smiled
"you don't need to apologise. Tom was a big part of your life and you loved him and were even planning a family of your own. He was a good guy with what I saw of him and I know he loved you but so do I and I adore Mia and I know she not ours either of us but he would be proud of her" Simon said as Leigh looked to him and smiled. She placed a hand on his cheek and smiled as she leant in and kissed him
"your the best. Remember we have to be there for two" Leigh said as he looked to her and nodded
"I know"

Leigh stood in the staffroom and smiled as she saw Aimee who walked in and walked over to where she was
"is everything okay" Aimee asked as Leigh looked to her and smiled
"I'm okay. I'm really falling for Simon aims and it scares me I mean I don't want it to seem like I am replacing Tom" Leigh said as Aimee smiled as she placed a hand on top of Leighs and smiled
"Tom would understand. Your are hot and single and he would get that you are young and because he is gone it doesn't mean that you don't have to be miserable" Aimee said as Leigh smiled
"he is a good guy isn't. I mean Mia seems to adore him" Leigh said as Aimee looked to her and chuckled
"oh she does. She was asking if he can be her daddy now. I don't think she fully understands. But max isn't happy because she doesn't want him to be her daddy" Aimee said as Leigh looked to him and smiled
"maybe Mia is something in max you can't see. I mean a child has an eye of innocence and they see something we don't" Leigh said as Aimee looked to her and smiled

Leigh sat in the hospital with Simon as he took a hold of her hand and smiled
"I oboe you are nervous but it's going to be okay. We are going to see our baby and it will be okay I promise" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he leant in and kissed her.
Leigh kissed him back and smiled. She knew how things were a mess but she knew that she was falling for Simon and for the first time since Tom had died she was starting to think that she could be truly happy without him even though she knew it would be far from easy
