"NIKI can you hurry up? You were literally wearing those same shoes yesterday, how could you lose them?"

"I swear I left them right here in their place!"

You were by the door waiting for NIKI to put on his shoes to leave. The two of you got invited to a friend's birthday party(wink wink drunk-dazed) that was in a place you weren't familiar with. This is why you wanted to leave early but someone misplaced their shoes.

"They're just sneakers, you can wear your other pair. We have to go!"

"But they're my special pair. They make me run faster." 😃

"You aren't going to run, stupid. Just hurry up and- NIKI THEY WERE RIGHT HERE!!"

You grabbed his shoes from under the couch where he supposedly 'already looked'. He took them giving you a sheepish smile before putting them on quickly. The bus ride there took forever so the two of you played games, nearly forgetting your stop. 

"Ni-Ki let's go!"

"one second I almost beat my high score!"

You took his arm and pulled him to exit the bus in time. There were big houses everywhere. All looking the same to you. Thank google maps for directing you to the address of the party. Once you got sight of a house with colored lights inside, you ushered Ni-Ki to walk quicker. But oh was it a mistake to put away your phone.

Inside, speakers were blasting I'm fine by BTS with people crowding the entrance entirely. The music was so loud, you had to scream just for Ni-Ki to hear. There were so many people you didn't know but you shrugged it off thinking they were just friends of your friends. You tried looking for Ni-Ki but he was already lost in the crowd. (dw this isn't an alcohol-type party) Not far away you heard him yelling the lyrics to the song.

"I'M FEELING JUST FINE FINE FINE NANANANANNANA"

"NI-KI WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

You found him by the snack table trying to fill his plate with desserts and chips. He even took a Kool-Aide pouch from the cooler. He kept stacking his plate with food until you had to put it back down on the table for him.

"NI-KI LISTEN! THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT PARTY! WE HAVE TO GO!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN? THIS IS A GRADUATION PARTY. I GRADUATED DIDN'T I?"

"WHA- YES BUT THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT ADDRESS. THE PARTY IS 10 MINUTES AWAY!"

Ni-Ki's face went blank. He quickly put down the cookie he was trying to sneak and bolted out the front door with you right behind him.

"See? I told you these shoes make me run faster"

"Just hurry up, the party already started"

While on the way there you noticed a notification from 15 minutes ago:

THE PARTY WASN'T AN ALCOHOL ONE. NI-KI IS A BABIE AND HE CAN NOT DRINK YET. This is actually inspired by the time I had to go to a freaking baby shower for my baby cousin (PRE COVID) and my mom got the address mixed up and we ended up entering the wrong party 💀💀 Ngl the baby shower we went to in the end was kind of annoying. The speakers were blasting and there were lights everywhere. All I did was sit at a table and watch all my drunk tía's and tío's dancing till 5 am. ANYWAYS, BYE.
