28. sɪᴍ ᴊᴀᴇʏᴏᴏɴ - oh shi

...

It was a quiet, almost perfect Sunday afternoon. All except for the fact that you had nothing to do in your house. You binged watched pretty much everything on Netflix the week before and you had no pets to play with. So, what do you do when you're bored? You go to Jake's house of course. (🙄) He had Lyala for you to play with and he had some fun games stored somewhere in his house. Perfect. You  texted to make sure he was at home before you left.

You: 

Hey, can I come over?? please <3

perfectionbyjake:

yeah of course. when?

You:

Now 😁

perfectionbyjake:

ok

You:

I'm here open the door!

perfectionbyjake:

Okay give me a sec.

I can't find my shoes so I'm gonna be a while 😔

You assumed he found his shoes because he opened the door and Lyala came running out to greet you. After getting Lyala calmed down from your sudden visit, you finally entered his house. 

"So what games do you wanna play?"

"I don't know. I was kinda hoping you'd have something planned out. It's so boring at my place."

"hmm.. I'll go check which ones I have."

With that, he left to the basement to find the board games he had laying around. In the meantime, you played with Lyala who was very interested in her toys. You decided to go check up on Jake after a while to make sure everything was okay.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!"

"Oh shi- ARE YOU OKAY?!!"

You started running down the stairs leading to the basement in fear he had broken something. You stopped at the doorway, in front of Jake. Standing on a table, staring at the open box Monopoly with its pieces scattered on the floor.

"What happened? Why did you scream??"

"A COCKROACH! RIGHT THERE!"

The roach crawled out from under the box and ran towards you. Jake got further away from it and you jumped on the nearest climbable object. A shelf. 

"HOLY CRAP. JAKE, MOVE OVER SO I CAN GET ON THE TABLE TOO!"

"NO!"

"PLEASE! IT'LL GET ME IF YOU DON'T!"

"FINE, JUST GIVE ME A SECOND"

The roach stood still for a moment before running away in a direction that got you worried and jumped to the same table as Jake in an instant. He almost fell down but regained his balance at the sight of the nearby cockroach. In a moment of braveness, you grabbed a game piece and threw it at the cockroach.

and...

it flew.

"OH SHI- JAKE, MOVE!"

"AHHHHHHHH! YOU MOVE!"

"NO YOU MOV- AHHHHH!"

You were shifting between touching the floor and the table but in an instant you were on the floor, looking up at Jake who peered down from the safety of the table. Then the cockroach flying from the wall. You jumped up and ran for the door, leaving Jake behind.

"WAIT COME BACK!"

"NO YOU PUSHED ME OFF"

"I'M SORR- WAHHHH AHHHHH!"

When you got back upstairs you dropped on the couch. A moment later Jake joined you. And Lyala?
