I was packing my stuff and putting everything into boxes. It's weird to store away your whole life, every memory, every feeling from my first steps to the clothes I wore yesterday. This is the first time I move. My mom got fired from her old job as police officer but found this new job as deputy in this place called Surveille. I tried to look it up in the internet but all that came up was this weird meaning: "someone is watching". Kinda creepy. Must be my imagination. I don't get why we have to move. Why can't mom find a job here? Now we have to move to a town that's nowhere to be seen. I hate my life.
mom:Serena come down here!!!
me: im coming stop pressuring me
mom: Where going to be late if u don't come down here
me: im coming, im coming
mom: good now take those boxes and help me put them in the car.
Sometimes I think my mom is weird. She used to belong to this club called the night stars in high school, I have no idea what's it about but maybe something to do with those people who read the crystal ball thingies. I think that's why she called me Serena. The meaning of my name doesn't go with me, my name means clear, tranquil, serene and im everything but that. At least its better than my second name Luna. My whole name is Serena Luna Floreus Fallax. It's really weird that's why I never tell people my whole name.
We got in the car to go to Surveille which is a 3 hour drive and our radio is broken. Good think I brought my mp3 with me. My mom was talking the whole ride but I wasn't paying attention since I didn't really care and wasn't really in the mood to hear her complaint about how dad never helps us. My mom and dad got divorced when I was 5 now im 16 I never really knew why they got divorced all I know is that I used to spend every Friday to Sunday with my dad till I was 7. He got into a lot of trouble and ignored me was what my mom used to tell me. I think he just never cared about me.
mom: Where here
me: *staring at the ugly wooden cavern that was going to be our house*
mom: Do you like it
me: NO! Can't you see it's horrible
mom: Don't scream at me. My work pays for this house
me: I don't think this qualifies as a house
mom: You're going to live here and you're going to like it.
me: but mom
mom: No but, go upstairs and start putting away your boxes
When I entered my room it was a mess. It was filled with cobwebs, the wall papers were pealing out and the bed was filled with dust. This going to take more work the I thought. I carried all my boxes upstairs and put them outside my room. I took the broom and swept my room, took away the cobwebs and then I mopped the floors. Then I saw something shiny under the bed. when I got under the bead I found a key, a gold key in a necklace around 20 carrots. Maybe it opens the trunk beside the bed I thought to myself. Then I got out from under the bead and tried to open the trunk and it did actually open. Inside the trunk there was a journal and two tiny boxes. First I opened the tiny pox on the left, it was filled with photos of this little girl and tons of photos of really weird stuff but I didn't bother to look. Then I tried to open the box on the right but it was locked. When I was going to open the journal my mom called me to go get lunch. I closed the trunk and put on the necklace cause something told me I couldn't leave it at my room like someone was watching, like someone wanted this key but why would someone want this key it only opens a trunk filled with crap.
