chapter six: Things are never what they seem

We got back to campus and Kayd told me there was a computer room next to the screening room. Once we sneaked through the screenin room and into the computer room I told Kayd he couldn't help me in this it was to dangerous and he could get hurt but he just started into my eyes and told me: "I can't just leave you alone either, even if it means risking my life". I left him help me but he has to be careful. I don't know why but I don't feel like loosing him. I tried to look up on the computer Night Stars but most of what came up was photos of stars until Kayd told me he found something and I noticed he just hacked into the police department and search in the history of this town.
me:isn't that illegal
Kayd: no, you never saw this
me: um yes I did, how did you learn to do that
Kayd: my dad is a computer wiz and he taught me how to hack last summer beafore he...
me: he what?
Kayd:(nothing)
me: ohh sorry
me: can we go back to searching

Once we were inside the police's history files we searched for the night stars and some kind of virtual crystal ball apeared and it looks like it neaded a password but beafore we even tried to enter a password one of the councelors entered the computer room.

councelor: what are you kids doing here? your soposed to be at the screening room
me: I thought this was the screening room
councelor: did you not notice the thousands of kids in that other room
Kayd: with all do respect computers have screens and in this room theirs tons of computers there fore it can also be called a screening room
me:*laughing uncontrollably*
councelor: okay you guys have detention
me: how can you get detention at summer camp
councelor: you guys get to clean the bathrooms for the rest of the week
councelor: *handed us cleaning tools*, get to cleaning

We don't have real toilets at summer camp we have this big portapoties that conect to a mini underground pudle near the lake. Kayd was cleaning the boys bathroom and I went inside the girls bathroom. When I pases trougth the miror and I swear I saw something sparkle in the miror at first I thought it was my imagination, then I thought it was one of the shadows but no one ever sees them. Then later I heard a voice that telling me: "you are different" but this voice didn't sound like the shadows it sounded more like my gradma but didn't she die before I was born. I know how she sounds like because my mom showed me some old videos.

After we cleaned the bathrooms they made us stay in the teachers lounge and they were going to call my parents or at least I think they will. After a while I got up cause my stomach was hurling and moving around, then I remembered we didn't eat any lunch. I went to ask the councelor if we could go eat something since we didn't have any lunch and he let us go. I was walking with Kayd towards the vending machines wishing he had money but turns out he was broke. So we decided to ditch and go to some place called The hut.

Once we were there we saw how weird it is inside or at least the theme is. The walls covered with fake spider webs, a whole wall called the broom hall of fame and covered with brooms, the tables made of really old wood and they had skeleton head on the edges and the ladies were super old. When we took the menu I remembered we didn't have any money.

me: werent you broke
Kayd: nah I was just messing with you and I didn't want to eat lame vending machine junk
me:ohh then why you lie you could have told me
Kayd: Well I didn't so what you're going to do about it
me: this *squirted a bit of ketchup out of a bottle labled blood on Kayd's shoe*
Kayd: hey thats not fair
me: well now where even
whench (waitress)(talking like she was going to cook us):Are you up fore a jucy meal?
me: umm... sure
Kayd: I'll have the Joe stake with a side of bunnie salad and a coca-cola
me: I'll have the.... witches brew brocoli goo soup and some ice tea
whench(still doing that voice thing): is that your complete orden?
me: yes
whench: *leaves*
me: the names for this foods are super weird, who picked this theme?
Kayd (pointing at the bottle labled blood): Right, who wants to think about blood while they are eating
me:exactly
me: um... did u... hear something... weird... while you... were... cleaning the bathroom?
Kayd: no, why?
me: well I did
Kayd: what did you hear?
whench(interups in that weird voice): ready for your doom?
whench: *serves our meal*

My soup was searved in a tiny witch pot thing and Kayd's stake was searved in a plate with a person's body in white clothes covered in blood drawing. I totally hate this theme. Then I heard a siren, a police siren. It was my mom...
