About Last Night

Chapter 14

The month of November passed quickly, it was now Christmas season. A season of joy, and gratitude. Paul has been staying at my house in Santa Barbra not that it makes such a big difference since he doesn't live that far from me. But it has been going great, Rebecca comes and visits a lot. She like's meadow to spend some time with us and also she has been going through some rough patches meaning postpartum depression. She told me about a week ago that she's been tempted to relapse in her drinking but baby meadow has been keeping her from doing it. I haven't told Paul just because its personal for Rebecca and I don't want to step into that situation between the two of them. 

December 23, 1998

I rubbed my eyes slowly letting the beam of light hit my eyes, I turn slowly seeing Paul asleep right next to me. I yawn placing my arm on his head slowly caressing his hair, he lets out a loud yawn  "Ugh, a little bit more time" I new Paul loved his sleep but he was going to be late for the last cast talk. "Paul, you're already done with this movie just go, this is the last day you might never see these people again" he turn to look at me forming a smile

"Why do you have to be so beautiful" I smile kissing him on the lips. He pulls me in towards him, I lay on top of him continuing the kiss. I knew this game of his but I was just playing along, I open my eyes slowly looking to the side as I reach for a pillow. I grab the pillow and smash it on his face, "Get up.." I laugh. He grabs a pillow and starts to hit me with it, we pillow fight until he accidentally hits me a bit too hard. I fall on the ground holding my face, he gasp in worry "Cass, are you okay" I let out a laugh grabbing my pillow and hitting him one more time in the face. He falls on to the bed, I laugh trying not to pee myself "stop, am about to pee on myself" I run to the restroom were I pee and hear Paul laughing outside. 

After a while I walk to the kitchen where Paul is cooking breakfast, I walk towards him placing my arms around his waist. I feel him let out a small breath "This is amazing" he says. I inhale breathing in that delicious smell "I just want to spend the day with you" he says turning around slowly placing his hands on my cheeks "Baby, I know you've been filming since before we got together but this is your last day enjoy it. Tomorrow you will be with me all day" he smiles placing a kiss on my lips "Anyways I have work so I wont be here all day" he frowns but turns back around. I let go of him reaching for the cabinets opening it and grabbing two plates, I set them on the table while Paul begins to serve us. "mmm, this smells so good" he smiles sitting right near me "Everything I make smells good" I smile letting out a small laugh

He raises his eyebrow taking a spoon of his eggs and putting it into his mouth. I do the same rolling my eyes back dramatically "Okay maybe your right" he laughs 

A few minutes pass and I get up grabbing his plate, I head to the sink and begin washing his dish. I hear Paul coming out of the room wearing his usual a baggy shirt, his converse and dickie shorts. I take a look and continue doing the dishes, I feel him right behind me. He begins to kiss my neck "I hope to see you later tonight" I lean my head the opposite direction taking in his kisses. He places his hand on my butt, "Ill miss you" I turn around wrapping my arms around his neck "Ill be waiting for you tonight" I place a soft kiss on his lips and feel a smile forming on his face. 

January 1999

Christmas had passed we decided to spend it together with Rebecca and meadow, I finally decided to start a friendship with Rebecca. At first it was hard seeing her so close to Paul but I needed to learn how to trust her, I trusted Paul the only thing that was hard was trying to forget the past between the both of them. 

Paul also finished all his movies and did one premiere which was varsity blues
