Chapter 3

*After One month*

*Rajeev Pov*

"I am going to kill him!" I said entering his company.

It is very small, and I know that maybe because this is just a branch of his original company, which is in Mumbai. I heard Kavya and Dad following me.

"Rajeev! Don't do this." Kavya said, holding my hand.

"Don't stop me, Kavya! How could he do this to us?" I asked her reaching the receptionist.

"We will deal with this by having a normal talk with him and control your anger." Dad said looking at me.

I reluctantly nodded and followed behind them towards that person's cabin. Dad knocked on it and entered it after we three took long deep breaths.

When we went inside we saw three chairs in front of his table with three cups on the table. And he is looking at us with a cold glare.

Looks like he already knows we are going to be here. Of course, he would as we received the notice just now right. And we would definitely rush here, which will be carried out by anyone in our place.

"What are you waiting for? Have your seat and some tea." He arrogantly told us.

I fisted my hands, but sat down along with them. He just sat there in front of us and gazed at us like he is testing how we will break in front of me.

"How could you do this to my company?" Dad asked in a strong voice.

"Did you forget my last words when I was leaving?" he asked back coldly.

"But we thought you told them in hurt and not actually meant them." Kavya replied in a whisper.

"You know me Kavya. I never tell something if I don't mean it from the start. Well, it looks like you forgot our days." He said shaking his head.

"You Rascal!" I shouted fisting my hands.

"Don't forget you are talking to literally your boss." He said glaring at me pointing out that he has 60% of the shares belonging to our company.

"How did you buy the shares from our relatives?" Dad asked him confused.

"Who doesn't want extra money right?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Why did you send notice to dissolve the company? You are the major shareholder now we know we are just working under you literally. So what else do you need?" I asked him confused.

"How were you chosen for Kavya?" He asked, which is completely out of the question.

"Arranged marriage!" I replied calmly.

"How did he find you?" He asked me.

"I need not answer your question." I replied, rolling my eyes.

"Just tell me!" he insisted.

"I was already working as a managing director at that time." I said looking at him.

"What about your parents?" he asked curiously.

Immediately something tugged me. I cannot forget them, and I still miss them along with my little sister.

"They are dead!" I replied, closing my eyes.

"I am really sorry about them, but lucky you." he said with normal expression.

"What?" I shouted at him.

"If they were present and this man sitting beside you would have never accepted you to his daughter pointing out some negative points in them." He replied glaring at Dad.
