I most definitely did not stare at this for 4 hours then clicked publish.... Also, another short update.

It felt like an entire life time in which I laid in the hospital bed, motionless. Unable to allow sleep to consume me as I stared at the clock as time ticked by all too slowly. It being the only other sound, aside from the beeps of various machines, to echo throughout the dimly lit room. The only light coming from the bright crescent moon of the night sky.
Though the window was shut, gusts of cold air pinched at any of the visible skin that the blanket didn't cover.
'Just a few more hours then we can go home to Techno... Just a few more. ' I kept reminding myself. Preparing myself for the check which determined whether I will be able to leave.
Counting to six before slowly moving a part of my body. Making sure I had control over my own body, being able to time each movement as to not pull anything out of place.

Phil tossed and turned, trying to get himself to sleep. Though his attempts remaind futile as his mind raced around with different possibilities.
Trying to not awake Kristen and to desperately go back to sleep, seeing as the two would be getting up in an hour. Since the two had taken the task of picking up the youngests of the the group, the had planned to wake up early. Still needing to double check everything they'd packed the day before.
Soon, he gave up on trying to sleep. Picking up his phone from the side table.
Opening discord as he'd done multiple times before.
Wilbur was no better.
Speed walking back and forth in the living space of his apartment. Practically burning holes into the floor below him as he had paced back and forth multiple times. His suitcase and duffle bag laying on the couch not to far from him.
Every so often, he'd glance at the clock he set up in the room. Checking the time as it slowly ticked by.
All the while checking his phone to check in on everyone.
