Travis walked into class, alone. He felt terrible about the way he had just left Abby there's but he couldn't keep doing this.

He felt uncomfortable every time she touched him, every time she kissed him or opened up to him. It just didn't feel right with her. Maybe she just wasn't what he was looking for?

Maybe he wasn't looking for anyone at all?... Maybe he's not meant to be with anyone for that matter.

"Hey, Travis ....", Sal walked up behind him.

"What are you doing, here?-", Travis turned around to him.

"I-I saw you come in here- I just wanna talk-"

Travis sat down at one of the desks in the empty room.

"About what?"

"You... You seem different- You just- You act like we're friends and that you actually care about me one day, and then the next, it's like you wish we never met-", Sal sighed.

"Sal- ...  I've been busy lately. I got a girlfriend- My dad's been taking me to alot of church events, I just don't have time for friends anymore"

"... Well, if you don't have plans... Do you wanna come over today after school?", Sal rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yeah, sure", Travis sighed.

"You don't have to-"

"I know, but I want to"

*~~~*

"Abby, we need to talk", Travis swung the door open to the Art room during lunch period.

"Hm, is everything alright?", She turned around to look at Travis.

"Abby-", He walked up to her.

"I love you, I really do"

"Awe, I love you too, baby", She smiled.

"But I have to be honest with you", He held both of his hands. Wondering if he should really tell her or keep his mouth shut for just a little longer.

"I-....", Travis choked on his words.

"I don't think... I've ever felt this way for someone?", What was he saying? This was a lie and he knew it.

"Travis... Are you alright?", She placed her palm onto his forehead, the same way Sal had, when he thought Travis wasn't doing well.

"I'm fi-", He didn't get to finish his sentence.

"Are you sure?!", She pulled him closer to her.

"Abby, I'm fine-", Travis seemed confused about everything that was happening.

"Please be honest with me- you don't look fine, you look terrible", She shook her head.

Honest? She wanted him to be honest with Her, fine, he could be honest.

"If you want me to be honest with you, I don't love you, happy now", He got out of her grasp.

"What?", She laughed.

"Oh my god, I don't love you! I don't even know you! We met like three days ago?! I don't like you, I don't love you, I don't know you!", Travis complained.

".. What-", Abby's eyes started to water a little.

"Is- is this a joke?"

"No! It's not a joke, oh my god! I don't love you, I just dated you so my dad wouldn't fucking hate me!"

"Watch your mouth", She grunted.

"Just, I don't love you, and you don't love me, okay? Now- leave me alone, I'm done with this, I'm going", Travis walked out of the art room, once again leaving Abby alone.

*~~~*

"Mom!", Abby came home crying tht day.

"What's wrong?!", He mom had quickly rushed to her.

"T-Travis. He didn't really love me ... He used me!", Her mother could barely make out what she was saying because of her sobbing.

"It's alright hunny, Just tell me what happened. I'll talk to Kenneth about it."
