Kadence and Zara took an Uber, so they both made their way into my car. I quickly began to drive to Kadence's house. There was an uproar in the back of the car as I drove my way through traffic.

"Wait!" I yelled, bringing my attention to the rode again. I can't focus. I couldn't think of anything right now. My mind was so discombobulated because of the things I've just encountered.

"Can you at least tell us what happened?"

"I-I was going to the restroom and after I was finished with my business, I saw two people who..."

"Who did you see?"

"I saw Paige getting freaky with someone we all know. I saw Rani."

Zara gasps but Kadence was quiet. I frown when I see her reaction. Did she know? How did she not say anything?

"What is it?"

"What happened?" I add.

She stays quiet before speaking up. "This was before I met you but I always had suspensions about them two. I tried to confront them but both blackmailed me and said they would blacklist me. They would ruin everything I built for myself. Especially coming back from a traditional family, I didn't wanna retake my traumatic route. I couldn't stand to be with my family again and experience their disappointment."

We all become quiet. Zara reached out to Kadence. I place my hand onto her hand, caressing it. "I understand. I'll figure out a way to expose them without getting you hurt." Kadence begins to cry into her hands. Luckily, I had arrived in front of her house, so she was able to collapse into my arms.

Before I could say anything, I froze because of an outside force. There was a silhouette of a woman behind an unknown dark grey GMC terrain. "Oh no did she follow us here?"

Kadence wipes her eyes before looking up at the woman. Her mouth gaped open when she catches a glimpse.

"Is that...."

"It's my fiancé, Nora."

The girls head inside the house as I approached Nora. She had tear stained cheeks. She wrapped herself with a gray cardigan as wind gusted by.

It was silent between us before I spoke up. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to check if my Christian Louboutin heels were here."

I shake my head and chuckle. She begins to laugh as well. "You moved out a year ago. You aren't really here for a pair of shoes are you?"

She shakes her head whilst still sniffing. "I-I mean.... To be honest, this was just to see you." She says, grasping my hand. My palms becomes sweaty and her familiar smell fills my nose. Her soft brown hands cover my own. My breath hitched and I'm right where I was before. It was as if I was in college all over again and I was seeing her for the first time.

"I thought you were seeing someone else."

"I couldn't. I still miss this. I still miss you." She held my hand up to her mouth, placing a kiss between my thumb and pointer finger. "And I know you miss me too because of how sweaty your hands are."

I nervously laugh to myself before she pulled me into her cool embrace. Her nose lightly touched mine. "I do miss you. I love you so much. I don't wanna fight anymore. I wanna finally commit to you and you only."

She nods before pecking my lips lightly. She pecks it again before we both take a breather. I wiped her cheeks as tears fell from them. "Let's not abandon anyone this time."

"I promise I won't," I laugh.

"I know you have commitment issues and that you feel that somehow everyone in life will turn their backs on you but I won't. I love you too much to do something so hateful."

"I know that. Sorry it took so long for me to figure out." I caressed her cheek before devouring her lips again.

She pulls away to mutter against my lips. "You have company over. Maybe we should finish that first before pouncing on each other."

"I mean, we do have the cars as plan b."

She pulled away, pushing me away slightly. I grasped her hand before leading her inside the house.

When I arrived home, inside the building was dark but the outside lights illuminated the room causing large shadows to appear. I kicked off my shoes, placing them into their compartment. As I walk towards the kitchen, I realize the lights were left on.

"Jada?"

I walk inside to find Elijah, placing dinner down. The plates were filled with burgers and fries. Though I had just ate, my stomach could go for another meal.

Elijah smiled at me, pulling a chair. I walked up to him, embracing his large frame. My hands explored his back muscles and biceps. His lips quickly latched onto mine before I could even take a step back. I laughed into the kiss because of his impatience. "I missed you so much. How was lunch with the girls?"

"How come you came so late?"

I wanted to speak about the certain events but I felt that this wasn't the time. He seemed so excited, I didn't wanna shatter his bliss.

"It was great but I did miss you too. I didn't mean to be so behind time. We actually stopped by Kadence's house after."

His smile grew and his hands explored my body as mine did his. Honestly, I knew that we were gonna eat in bed. "Someone's a bit aroused aren't they?"

"Well, I can't seem to stay away from you. Touch is my love language."

"Is that so?"

He nods before kissing my lips again. This time adding a bit of tongue and slowly, passionately devouring my lips. Though we hadn't part for a breather, I pulled away to say...

"You know I can't do anything crazy because of the injury. Right?"

"That hasn't stopped me from giving you head." My mouth dropped and his chuckles pervaded the room. He picked me up into his arms causing me to Yelp. I giggled as he placed kisses upon my soft skin whilst walking up the stairs. I looked behind him, staring at our plates. "What about our dinner?"

"Uh, I'll be back." He claimed before placing me gently on the bed. I slipped off my dress, leaving me in my underwear. I released a gust of laughter when he carried one plate with both our meals in one hand and sparkling cinder in the other. His mouth was occupied with a wine glass but he gave me a sexy grin. He kicked the door closed, before placing the things down.

I squealed when he jumped on the bed and began kissing my body. He kissed on specific areas, it was as if he knew every detail on me.
