Elijah moved closer, whispering," What was that about?" I smiled at him and shook my head. "It's nothing. I just wanna talk more to the others and maybe meet your colleague." He cracks a smile at me and nods his head. I could tell that he still had questions about my strange behavior.

"So, we'll go clockwise. Starting with me, Brett, Kadence and...." She pauses and examined Nora. "What's your name, hon?"

Nora laughs to herself and Kadence's jaw clenched. "You've seen her before, Paige," Kadence claimed. "I don't recall." Paige says with a smirk. Nora rolls her eyes and holds back Kadence before she could jump onto Paige.

"My name is Nora," Nora says, sternly.

"Ok, then Nora, Then Elijah, and finally Jada." Paige says my name while clenching her hands together. She looks around for piece of paper and begins to write numbers on them. "So, here's the rules. Since we all have an equal amount of people, everyone will be assigned a person. You and your person will have matching numbers. When its your turn, your partner will ask you a question or say a dare. This goes for vice versa."

Everyone picks out of the pine green top hat. I prayed for a partner besides Paige. Kadence drew first and got Elijah. I looked over at Elijah and gave me a slight smile. After her, Nora picked out of the hat. I prayed harder.

"I got Brett," Nora says, placing down her piece of paper. I sigh to myself, feeling the need to literally cry at this point.

"Ok let's begin. Remember what I said, we start with me." Paige fixed herself into her chair before looking up at me. "Jada, truth or dare?"

"Dare." This could be the only way to avoid her questions. She laughs to herself and sips her wine, thinking of an action.

"I'll start off slow. I dare you to go through Elijah's phone." Elijah takes out his phone quickly, sighing. "She already trusts me and I trust her. Unlike someone I used to know." I begin to flip through his Home Screen which looked pretty normal. I saw a few texts messages but that was only from his friends and my mom. I looked in awe at his text to my mother.

Thank you for doing so much for us. I promise you I'm one call away.

How's everything?

-Elijah

Everything is fine, hon. I promise she's having the time of her life. Now go have fun with my daughter and give me some more grandbabies.

-Mom

I laughed at the last sentence and looked over at Elijah. I hadn't realized that I've been crying the whole entire time. Elijah wiped my cheeks and pecked my head. "I love you."

"I love you too, sweetheart." I kissed his lips two times before, placing my forehead against his.

Paige coughs catching our attention. "We have a game to play. You don't have to get all love dovey on us." She says, whispering the last part.

"Ok, Brett. Your turn."

"Nora truth or dare?" Brett asked. Nora thinks to herself. "Truth." Brett cussed to himself and groaned. "Shit, I would've had a good dare. Give me a minute." I laugh after hearing Elijah burst into laughter behind me. I lean into his chest as he whispered," I can't with him."

"Alright, what are your turn offs."

"That's easy." She counts on her fingers. "Clingy, self centered, and smart asses." She stares at Paige when she announced the last one. Paige rolls her eyes.
