The Attack

  After we did the unexpected, we laid there, we looked up at the ceiling. Out of breathe, and out of words. I have no memory of this guy but I still lost my v card to him. He could have slept with so many other girls, and somehow I'm here, but there was something about him. Of course I can't say he's different, because I don't know him that well.
   Then we realized we were at a ball, a ball that was organized just for him, we quickly get up and change back into our clothes, and fix our hair. He looks at me and smiles.
  "I don't regret anything princess" he sue putting his hand out.
   "Really?" I said giving him my hand.
   He kisses me, and tells me, "really" and smiles. We walk out of the room together and walk to the dance room. He puts a hand on my waist and another in my hand, and we waltz for what seemed like an hour. I'm the corner of the room I saw Cecil and Matt waltzing, and I saw Jaxon waltzing with Joshua's cousin.
   While waltzing I saw everyone who surrounded us, but yet no matter how much people were there, it was like we only focused on each other. Step by step he showed me I could trust him, step by step he showed me he knows what he's doing. Step by step, I forget I have no memory of him whatsoever, but I didn't mind that.
   It was as if every step we took, was a step of less problems, less stress, and just..us. Soon enough we had to stop waltzing because his mother wanted to dance with him, and my father wanted to dance with me.
   "I thought you didn't know him" he said confused.
  " I don't, but turns out we have pictures together, know anything about that?" I said snarking back.
  "Ask your mother Leslie, she was the one who spent more time here with you." He said spinning me.
  "That's true, but dad you must know something." I said.
  "I know your falling for him, your not supposed to, everything with the royal family is strict business, when we finish that deal with them, we won't contact them again." He said with a deep voice.
  "Why, because mom wants to get this over with so you don't sleep with Daniela again." I said mad.
  "Your little relationship with Joshua won't even last, guys like him will be gone by morning." He said.
  "It's because of Daniela, this has nothing to do with me and Joshua." I said letting my father go.
  "So you admit it?" He said annoyed
"I don't admit to shit." I said loudly.
"Is something wrong here?" Joshua said while approaching.
"We were just leaving!" My father says pulling my hand.
"No, it seems like Leslie doesn't want to go, she can stay in her room, like the old times." Daniela said patting me in the back.
"Is that what you want?" Asked my father.
"More then anything." I said with a smile.
"Well then, goodnight, I'll call you in the morning, Joshua, welcome home." My father said while walking away.
"Okay well go on, Joshua will get you settled in." Daniela said smiling.
Joshua walked me back to my room and was smiling, almost smirking the whole time. When we arrive to my room he hands me a sweater and shorts for me to change too, then he gets me Advil and water to take. As he kisses me in the head and heads towards the door and looks back before he leaves.
"I don't regret a thing princess." He closes the door and I sit down near a window, and look at the full moon. Suddenly, out of the blue, I hear a growl and a howl, almost like a wolf. I still had my gown on, I got up and looked through every window.
   Out of no where, my door opens, but fast. It was Joshua and Daniela, they were still in their ball clothes. They are out of breath and scared.
  "Are you okay?" Joshua said closing the door and locking it.
  "Yes, I'm okay, are you guys okay?" I said shocked.
  "Yes, we are fine, I'm sorry if we scared you, it's just, that was not normal." Daniela said trying to catch her breath
  "What was that?" I said shaking.
  "I have no idea, all I know is that my dad is out there and he has to find a safe place" Joshua said closing the windows.
  Then all of the sudden the howling and growling stopped, and we stood there without making a noise. Suddenly, the knob starts to jiggle, and Joshua went in front of us. Then it stops. Joshua goes outside with a flower pot and tells us to stay put. Of course I didn't listen so I told Daniela to stay and that I'm going to find Joshua.
   He took the left and I took the right. They whole castle was silent, and still. Then suddenly someone appears.
  "Hey are you guys okay, where is everyone?" Jaxon said hugging me.
  "Oh my god, was that you growling?" I said shocked.
  Then there's a bigger growling sound. "Does that sound like I did it!?" Jaxon said. "Oh no, Joshua is somewhere here running around!" I said worried. "Well then hurry up we have to find him!" He said getting my hand. I kicked my shoes off and started running. It was difficult running with a gown dress but I managed.
   We ran for about 20 minutes trying to find him, then we here someone cry for help. We ran towards the yelling and we find Joshua bleeding.
  "Oh my god, Jaxon go find the first aid box!" I said getting down on my knees.
  I get down and put pressure on Joshua's wound to try to stop the bleeding. Then Jaxon appears with the box, I clean Joshua up and stitch him up. I clean up a bit more and throw the trash away while Jaxon tried to keep Joshua awake.
   "Joshua what the hell happened?" Jaxon said
   "I was chasing the growling sounds, what the hell was Leslie doing outside of the room." Joshua said out of breath.
  "Your mom is okay, I locked the door, and I don't care about me, I'm not the one who is scratched." I said looking into Joshua's eyes. His eyes seemed so distanced, like if he was dying.
  "I'm okay, and no I won't die, don't worry, but I do know what's out there." Joshua said.
  "Does it hurt, it looks horrible." Jaxon said.
  "No it doesn't, it just, it's fine." Joshua said drinking water that Jaxon got him.
  "What the hell was that thing?" I said terrified.
"It was a werewolf."
