Here is my second entry for the contest of WattMaas, using prompt 1. Again, I took some liberties with it. It seems I can't stick to an exact prompt, but, oh well, I still like how it came out.
"Are you sure?" Rhysand eyed Tamlin.
"Yes." He'd shed his beast form, revealing the once powerful but now broken body beneath it. "I'm doing this for her, not for you. When I'm gone, she will be truly free of me."
Rhysand pulled at their world's seams, the starlit fabric parting for a darkness deeper than the night.
"Tell her I loved her." Tamlin slipped through the gap and was devoured by the emptiness between the worlds.
"I will." No spite was in Rhysand's words, only a heaviness in his heart.
It would stay for longer than he cared to admit.
(100 words)
Author's Notes: I'm well aware that Tamlin is probably one of the least popular characters from the ACOTAR world, and while I'm definitely not a fan, I do think that in the end he deserves some redemption, however it may come to pass.
