Lily's Pov
I stared at the white ceiling, I had been kept in the same room for the past however many days I had been here. There was no windows. Other then the occasional visit from the crazy man who is apparently in love with me or the traitor, I had been alone. They had offered me food but I refused to take it. The door opened and I made no move to see who had entered, but they cleared their throat, clearly waiting for me to turn to them.
"I want to help you escape." I hear Edward's voice break the silence that had settled around me. This made me turn to look at him. I studied him with distrustful eyes.
"What?" I question weakly.
"I want to help you escape." Edward repeated.
"What's the catch?" I ask with a sigh, now forcing myself to sit up.
"You go back to your friends, back to where you came from, and you never come back." Edward stated his conditions which I was perfectly okay with. "I'll make sure my brother doesn't come after you."
"Why would you do that?" I ask wary of his true intentions.
"I want my brother back." Edward shrugged. "If I killed you I doubt he would forgive me."
"Okay." I agree. I know I was being stupid for trusting him, but honestly he was my best option. I don't see people lining up to help me. It's not like my friends could find me. Not anymore. I didn't really have anything to lose anymore. I had lost enough time with my brother and friends, I refused to lose anymore. Finally it seemed my life was in perspective just a little more. I was holding myself back, I had always held myself back.
"Good, that makes it easier for both of us. You have two days." Edward clapped happily before making his way out the room and slamming my door shut.
-TWO DAYS LATER-
I hadn't seen or heard from Edward since the time he left. When he told me I had two days I wasn't sure what he had meant. Duke hadn't visited me either. My only human contact was with Ethan. That was never pleasant. Each time he seemed to get angrier. He was getting scary, terrifying.
I was laying on the bed, staring at the wall when the door opened. As always I didn't turn to look at whoever was entering. The sound of the door closing made me flinch, I hated how afraid I was of Ethan it made me feel weaker then I already felt.
"Lolz..." Duke whisper shouted. It was now I twisted to look at him. "Come on we don't have much time. Danni and the others are waiting outside."
"What?" I whisper back feeling slightly dumbfounded.
"We're helping you escape." Duke replied. "I know I've been a crappy friend, but please let me do this one thing to try and make things just a small bit better. You won't ever see me again. I promise. Just let me help you escape."
"Okay." I whisper, not knowing how to properly respond. Duke smiled and quickly pulled me off the bed. He pulled me to the door and kept me behind him, he opened the door and looked, checking for guards I assume. When he decided the coast was clear he pulled me out and behind him. Together we made our way through the halls and carefully avoided any guards. Thankfully we never ran into any. It made me wonder where everyone was, and how this plan could possibly work. We made it to the door with no problems which scared me more then it should have. As said Danny was outside waiting for us. Instantly I rushed into his arms and threw myself over him. He easily caught me.
"Get to the airport as soon as you can. I assume Ace has his jet ready?" Duke checked. Danny nodded and Duke smiled.
"All our informants are staying behind. We'll keep Ethan here. Please keep her safe." Duke spoke softly and sadly. It was now I was reminded that he was once my friend. Cautiously I unwrapped myself from Danny and threw my arms around Duke.
"I forgive you." I spoke softly but I knew he could hear.
"Thank you." Duke replied. We cut our hug short when Danny pulled me away and into a car. I waved with a sad smile to Duke as we rushed away at full speed.
We made it to the airport in record time. It was nighttime and therefore there were hardly any cars on the roads. Danny and I barely spoke on the drive but he kept sending me side glances, as if to check I was still there. When we got to the airport I followed Danny, who kept my hand tightly held in his. It didn't take us long to make it to the plane that I assume was Ace's. When we get there I see all of my friends anxiously waiting outside. Jack and Alex stood slightly to the side. Away from them. April was the first to rush over to me.
"I was so worried." She cries with tears in her eyes.
"I'm okay." I reassure her.
"Please stop getting kidnapped." Lex jokes, joining the hug.
"I'll try." I reassure. When they both let go my eyes meet Ace's, I rush over to him and place my lips on his in a heated kiss. I had waited so long to feel his lips against mine. His lips were soft but the kiss was passionate and rough. We pulled away when we both needed air. "I'm so sorry."
"Why?" He whispers, our foreheads still pressed together.
"For waiting so long to finally do that." I whisper back. He smiles and places a soft peck on my lips.
"As much as I hate to break this up, we have to go." Daniel rushes, I send him a glare from the corner of my eye but he innocently smiles at me. Ignoring the two traitors I climb onto the plane and say goodbye to my new life. This was it, I was going home.
