April's wedding dress fit her perfectly, with her makeup fully done she looked like a princess. For the first time since she was younger, she felt like a princess.

"You look beautiful A." Lola smiled, embracing her friend and almost sister in law. Today was her wedding day, in a few short minutes she would be walking down the aisle to the awaiting Daniel who couldn't wait to finally spend the rest of his life with the beautiful woman he had been in love with for years.

"I'm so scared Lolz." April frowned, patting her dress down. Lola just smiled reassuringly and reassuringly held her hands.

"April, you love Daniel right?" Lola asked to which April nodded with a small smile as she thought of Daniel's smiling face. "That's all that matters. You and him and your life together."

"You're right." April smiled. Lola nodded and wrapped her arms around her friend, being careful of their dresses and makeup.

"You look fantastic A." Lola smiled, over the past six months April had been conscious of making sure her dress fit, it had been almost a year since Daniel had proposed and they had spent that whole time planning their perfect wedding. April's brother was waiting just outside the door along with her bridesmaids, other girls from the gang that she was close with.
"It's time," Lola stated, checking the time on her phone. April nodded and took once the last glance at herself in the mirror. Before opening the door. Austin's eyes lit up as he saw his sister, a wide smile on his face.

"You look amazing baby sis." August smiled happily.

"Thank you." April blushed, her nerves rising as she became unsure if Daniel would share their opinions.

The next hour went quickly but for April and Daniel, it was the happiest hour of their lives. Daniel's attention was solely on his beautiful wife and nothing was more important to either person as their gazed lovingly at each other. Now everyone was standing waiting for their pictures to be taken when Ace tugged on Lola's arm, instantly she saw his face and a smile arose on her face.

"You look, gorgeous babe." Ace complimented his girlfriend. Instantly heat rushed to her cheeks.

"You're just as handsome." She replied and Ace just smiled back at her.

"When can we tell people?" Ace frowned, his hand moving to gently rub Lola's pregnant stomach. She was only a month into her pregnancy.

"When April and Daniel get back from their honeymoon." Lola chuckled, loving his enthusiasm.

"That's so long!" He pouted.

"Now can we have the maid of honour and the bride please?" The photographer called.

"That's it cue." Lola smiled, placing a kiss on Ace's cheek and slipping away.

-----a month later-----

"Can we tell them now?" Ace asked like an over-enthusiastic child, it was the first time everyone was having dinner since April and Daniel got back from their honeymoon.

"Yes." Lola finally agreed.

"Thank God, I've hated not telling people." Ace pouted. He was so glad that he was finally becoming a father, finally, he started to feel complete.

"I love you," Lola said as Ace pulled into the parking lot.

"I love you too." Ace replied a wide smile on his face. Together they climbed out of the car. That night they spent the night with friends that all relished in the joy of the newly married couple and Lola and Ace's pregnancy.

----7 months later-----

Lola shot awake with an ache in her stomach and a wet patch below her. Instantly she shook Ace awake.

"The baby is coming," she announced as soon as Ace's eyes opened. Joy shot through him before the panic set in. He rushed out of bed helping Lola and together they grabbed the preprepared hospital bag and made their way to the hospital, Ace calling their friends while he drove.

After 32 hours of labour, their baby was finally here. The baby boy slept peacefully in the crib as exhaustion consumed Lola.

"He's beautiful." April complimented.

"Thank you." Ace whispered, he didn't want to wake the exhausted Lola.

"When are you going to propose?" April asked with a smirk, knowing her friend much too well.

"I was thinking of holding off for a while... Adam has only just been born and..." Ace started to make excuses only to be stopped by April.

"I can watch Adam, please don't put this off. You've already missed so much time together Ace." April reminded him. Ace thought of the darkest times of his life, all of which were without Lola. She had helped him, fixed him.

"Soon." Life assured. April smiled and they were soon joined by their other friends.

--------

Months later and Lola wore a pretty engagement ring on her finger as she looked lovingly at her son who was being fed by Ace. Her two loves looked amazing together, they were surrounded by their friends Finally she was happy. Surrounded by her true family.
