Lola has been home for two months now and finally, she was happy, surrounded by her friends and family.
"Lola!" April called, a bright smile on her face. Lola's head snapped around to face the smiling girl. "I missed you!"
"We saw each other two hours ago A." Lola chuckles, April puts a fake pout on, masking her true fear. Any time Lola has been out of April's sight over the past two months she is constantly worried that she will disappear again, she knew she was not alone in her fear. With Daniel and Lola finally establishing a true relationship it was a constant fear of Daniel's that Lola will get kidnapped or just disappear again. Neither of the couples could bear to lose her again. They had already spent so much unnecessary time apart.
"I know I just..." April trails off only for Lola to place a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not going anywhere A." Lola confirms. April just nods but the fear lays deep within her.
"I know." April sighs. Lola just smiles. "How's the company going?" With Lola's previous bakery she realized that she had a love of baking and so with the help of her friends she was again opening her bakery.
"We're opening next week." Lola smiles happily, baking her truly become a passion of hers.
"You and Ace have spent a lot of time together to open, right?" April asks with a smirk. Lola's eyes trail down and a blush forms on her cheeks.
"I suppose." Lola shrugs, trying to ignore the butterflies in her stomach. April raises an eyebrow. "It is too complicated A, we couldn't ever work."
"He loves you Lolz." April frowns. "The only question is, do you love him?"
"That's not the point." Lola frowns, and with that, a plan forms in April's mind. A plan to finally bring together her friends.
Meanwhile, Daniel was taking action on his own plan. April had been his rock for year's and now his sister was finally back he knew what he had to do.
"Lex, do you think she'll like that?" Daniel asked, pointing out a beautiful ring.

"Danny, she will love it," Lex confirmed. Daniel anxiously purchased the ring after already going to 5 different ring shops, finally, he had found the one.
----that night----
April walked down the steps wearing a flowery sundress that stole Daniel's breath, his heart beating at a million miles an hour. He clutched the ring box that was secure in his pocket as he took April's hand, leading her out of the front door and to his car. They drove in comfortable silence, Daniel constantly stealing glances at the woman he loves. The two reached the clearing where they had their first date and together walked to the picnic pre set up.
"Danny this is beautiful." April smiled at her boyfriend.
"T-thank you." Daniel stuttered, his nerves spilling out of him.
"Are you okay?" April asked, clearly seeing Daniel's anxiety.
"Of course, I'm here with you," Daniel answered without hesitation, he knew with her he would always be happy. She was his happiness, his home, his love, his family. April just blushed, her eyes falling to the floor. Together they sat down with soft music playing from Daniel's phone. Conversation flows freely between them, both laughing and smiling until it stopped and Daniel realized it was time.
"April," he started, his palms sweating as he moved onto one knee making April gasp. "Without you, I would be only half the make I am today. You are my happiness, my life, my home. I love you so much. I would love it if you could make me the happiest man alive and be my wife. Will you marry me?" The ring was presented and a speechless April just nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes!" She finally exclaimed. "1000 times yes!" The ring was slipped onto her finger and their lips connected.
-----1 month later-----
"You'll be there right?" April asked Lola for the 100th time, she couldn't have anything go wrong today. After all her plan was finally in motion. She had no intention of meeting Lola at the coffee shop, instead Ace would be in her place.
"For the 100th time yes." Lola chuckled, she didn't understand why this was so important, April and Lola frequently met for coffee. To her, this was just a normal meet up.
An hour later and Lola is approaching the coffee shop that April often met her at. She sat at their usual table in the corner after ordering her usual coffee. It was 10 minutes before a frustrated Ace came and sat in front of her.
"They set us up." He declared, Lola sipped her coffee and looked towards him.
"Hello to you too." Lola chuckled. Ace smiled slightly and shook his head.
"Hey, Lolz." He greeted. "I've missed you." He finally sighs. Over the last month, Lola has been wrapped up in her bakery that she hasn't seen much of Ace or her other friends.
"I've missed you too." She smiles. After finally admitting to herself she was in love with Ace she missed seeing him every day.
"My offer to move in still stands." He jokes, Lola lived alone but Ace asked her to move in jokingly a few weeks back since they never saw each other anymore.
"Maybe I should." She chuckles. Ace's eyes lit up and his heart started beating faster.
"Really?" He asked, being completely serious. Lola hesitated before speaking next.
"Maybe I should. I've missed seeing you and Lex every day." She smiled, Lex also lived with him seeing they were a part of the gang. James frequently visited the bakery and so they often saw each other.
"Say the word and I'll have all your stuff moved." Ace started.
"The word." Lola smiled, Ace quickly started tapping away on his phone and people were on the way to her apartment.
"Lola..." Ace started nervously. "I want to ask you something."
"To get you this nervous it must be important." Lola chuckled she loved seeing him look so nervous.
"Well... I..." Ace stuttered, not knowing how to start.
"What's wrong?" Lola asked, placing a hand on his.
"I just... We've been through a lot, and I've not always been the best person but we've always gotten through it. I've been in love with you for year's and it's never been the right time for us, now it finally is and I just... I'm trying to ask, will you go on a date with me?" Ace rambled though.
"Of course I will," April answered after only a short hesitation. And finally their love story could finally begin.
