Chapter Eleven

Harry's POV

My mom and I went out for lunch today. We went to a sandwich shop. It was pretty good, except the fact that there was a bit too much lettuce for my liking. Afterwards, went to a record shop. That's where we are now.

"Do you still make music?" My mom asked me.

"Yeah. Do you want to hear some once we get home?" I asked.

"That'd be great. Does anything look interesting?"

"I was thinking about picking this up." I said, holding a copy of Is This It by The Strokes.

"Your dad was a fan of them. He would've loved you."

"Okay mom, you can stop getting sappy. They're really good. They're releasing a new album soon." 

"Done looking?"

"Yeah, I think so."

We walked up to checkout and paid. On the way out, I stopped at a bulletin board with different music-related things on it. There was an ad for a band called lowercase g, and they needed a guitarist and singer. I took one of the tabs and put it in my pocket.

"What's that for?" my mom asked, as we were walking home.

"A number for a punk band that needs a guitarist and singer. Thought I'd call and give it a shot."

"You'd fill that spot perfectly."

"I know, that's why I took the tab." I said, laughing.

When we got home, we went up to my room. I grabbed my light blue electric guitar and plugged it into my amp. I did some tuning and some scales, then started to play.

"This is called Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've?). I wrote it yesterday. I want good and bad feedback, so pay attention."
