Chapter Twelve

Harry's POV

"I actually loved that. I don't have too many criticisms. Your voice fits the genre so well. It would sound fantastic with a full band. I can definitely see you having a future making music." My mom said.

"Thanks mom. I'd love to be in a band. How about I give that band a call now?" I asked.

"Sure. I'll be downstairs. Tell me if you get anything out of it."

"Of course I will."

She closed the door behind her. I fished the tab out of my pocket and dialed the number. Somebody picked up on the second ring.

"Hello, who is this?" the person on the other side of the line asked.

"Hi, the name's Harry. While in Razzmatazz Records earlier today, I saw you were looking for a guitarist and singer. Thought I'd call and see if the spot is still open."

"I'm Callan. We are still looking for someone! We're practicing later tonight. Do you write music as well?"

"Yeah, I do. Could I swing by said practice?"

"Of course! I'll text you the details."

"Cool. See you tonight then."

"See you later!"

I hung up, and immediately ran downstairs to tell my mom.

"They're still looking for a guitarist and singer, and they're practicing tonight. It's at 7, at what I assume to be somebody's house." I said.

"That's great! You can go, as long as you're careful. You've never met these people before, and you don't know what they can do."

"Okay mom."

I checked my watch and it was right around 3. I went upstairs and took a nap until it was time to go.
