Today was our last rehearsal till the game we were performing at tomorrow. It was our first...big performance.
"Kailani make your leg go higher!" Yells our instructor. Kailani was such a good dancer, with the warmest heart and she's so beautiful. We go over the routine a few more times. "Water break."
I sit down in a corner with Athena and Winter. We watch Kailani sit down and roll her head back in annoyance. "She seems like a cool person." Athena says while taking a sip of water. Winter invites her over and she grabs her bottle and sits next to us. "hi" She smiled. "hey!" We all say back at the same time. "So...why did you guys ask me to come over?" She asks. "Well...you seem like a cool person and we just wanted to get closer with you." Says Athena to Kailani. Winter and I nod in agreement.
"Aww well thats very kind, and yeah I would like to know you guys more." She giggles.
"Okay guys! Back in positions!" Coach yells. Everyone stands up and gets into their positions. "And a 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8"

We finish class and I go to grab my bag, I see Athena and Winter talking to Kailani so I go up to them. "Do you wanna grab a bite. with us?" I ask her. " She smiles and says. "Sure!" We all walk out and go into the parking lot. "Where are we eating?" Winter asks. "How about taco bell?" Suggests Kailani. "Thats sounds good." I say.
"Kailani do you wanna come with us?" Athena asks. Kailani lives really close to the college so she normally walks there. "Sure".
We get into the car. Athena and Winter sit in the front and Kailani and I sit in the back. So what do you do other than dance? I ask her. "Well...I model and bake, I love baking, I want to maybe open a bakery in the future." She laughs.
I look at her in surprise. "I really didn't think you baked." I tell her. She laughs. She's a good one. We get to taco bell and we all get out. I order for us and Kailani insists to pay but I move her card away and pay instead.
We find a table to sit at and start talking to each other. "I'm so nervous for tomorrow." Says Kailani. "Your like the best dancer on the team, don't be." I tell her and rest my hand on her shoulder. "Says you guys!" She says. They call out our order and Winter goes to grab it from the counter. She brings it back and gives everyone their food. "I'm starving!" I slightly yell and open up my bag. I take out my soft taco and take a bite out of it. Yumm.
I finish my taco and start drink my baja blast. We all share out a plate of nachos."By the way you guys can call me Kai or Lani" She laughs. This girl always laughing, and I love it, positive vibes. "Got it Kai." I smile.
We all start talking about where we wanna be in 5 years and what we want to do and just really get to know each other. "Lets start off with Winter." I say. "Hmm okay, so... I want to probably open up a retail store, sell clothing, name it something unique ya know and be married, if not then have a stable relationship going, and for kids, I want a daughter and a son as twins." She tells us. "I would be practically living at your store." Says Kai while laughing. Winter smiles and says. "Athena's next!"
Athena thinks for a minute before saying, "I want to open a salon, that has a nail area, hair area, makeup area, and pamper area. And for kids...I want one, maybe three and of course be in a stable love life, have a nice house and just be happy honestly." She smiles. "Thats so cute."
"Kai next!" Says Athena. Kai takes a sip from her drink then starts to speak. "Okay so I wanna have a bakery, mixed with a candy store, and I want two kids, I hope I'm in a stable relationship, maybe even married." She tells us. "I never thought of having a candy shop, but now I really want one!" Athena says. "J.J 's turn now." Kai says.
"I want to open a dance school, teach little kids, I want to have a class that teaches dance to unfortunate kids, and for how many kids I want, I really don't know." I laugh.
Just then a little girl comes up to me. She holds out an ipad and says. "Can you please take a photo with me, I'm your biggest fan." She says in a bit nervous tone. "Of course honey!" I kneel down next to her and hold her ipad up and take a selfie with her. She smiles and says. " Today is my birthday and you made it the best birthday ever!"
I look at her in awe and dig into my purse trying to find something to give to her. I find a little box of unopened chocolates and take it out. I give it to her. "Whats your name?" I ask. "Cora." She replies. "Well happy birthday Cora, this is for you." I give her the box and she smiles and hugs me again. "Thank you so much Journee!" I laugh and rub her forehead. "No problem!" We say our goodbyes and she runs to a booth I suppose her family was sitting at.
I grab my rubbish go put it in the bin, so do the other three. While walking out I see her sitting eat and wave at Cora, she waves back and smiles. We jump into the car and drive to Kai's house.
"Lani, I forgot to ask you, single or taken?" Asks Athena. "Sadly, single." She pouts. Athena looks at Winter and I and smirks. I know who she's thinking about. "No Athena, no he's gonna break her heart! " I say. She sighs. "Your right but they would look so perfect." Winter says.
Kailani looks at us in confusion. "Oh we have a friend who would like you a lot, and you guys would look really cute together" I tell her. She looks confusedly and shrugs. "Whats his name?"
