Me and the other girls on our team were in a back room warming up to go on the court to perform our half time performance. We did mini drills to get blood flowing in our body. 

We go into the change rooms to change into our costumes. 

"I'm so nervous." Athena tells me. I put on my shoes and sigh. "Yeah we have to be perfect." 

Winter and Kai were doing our makeup and then we would do theirs.  "Do fish lips." Kai tells me. "or just replace lips with Josh." Winter laughs. Athena starts laughing as well and falls off her chair onto the ground. "Ha.Ha. Your so funny." I say and roll my eyes. The boy's are playing at the game we are dancing at which makes it so much more exciting to do, and Kai and Dior will see each other for the first time. 

Josh has been acting weird lately, don't know why but he's acting nervous about something, maybe it's just basketball though. "Okayy, your all done!" Says Kai. I look in the mirror and smile looking and the great makeup she did. "You really did a great job, your so talented." I tell her. 

Winter finishes Athena's makeup and then Kai and I start doing their makeup. We finish it up and then take photo's. "Pose girls!" Yells our coach as she takes a group picture of my team. I hand her my phone for her to take a picture of us and she does so. 

" Thank you coach." I tell her and post the photo on my story. I get a text from my Mom. I turn my head to the side confusedly and open the text.

Momma bear🐻 :  Hey honeyy, I heard about your performance tonight and wanted to wish you a big goodluck! So sorry we can't be there today, tell us all about it afterwards xx

Me: Thanks momma.

I sigh and turn off my phone. It's like their always busy and I can never have time with them, even worse when your in a different state now. But really you can't even blame them, their famous celebrities, and need to keep up a reputation. 

Just then I hear a lot of chatter starting, I was sitting on the floor so I got up to see where the noise was coming from. I look over the crowd in the dressing room and see dad's face, I push out the crowd and see my family. I run to them and give them a big hug. "Guyss I thought you said you weren't coming!" I smile. I go give bronny and bryce a hug. Then I go up to Zhuri and give her a hug. 

We all caught up and talked about what I was doing.

"We need to take pictures!" Says my mum. We all get up and I take a photo with mom and dad, then one with the whole family. "When are you guys going home?" I ask.

"Sadly, just after the game, Bronny has a game in LA and Zhuri has this little shoot tomorrow. I nod while I sleek back my hair with gel and do my edges.  Our couch gathers us into a circle.
