Next morning we drove down to to shopping centre for a little tour. The beautiful town had no skyscrappers,just a descent farm town with fresh unpolluted air.
We socialize a bit with the locals,meaning i was doing most of the talking and the usual elijah wasn't into that,he just gave brief smiles. We visited different grocery stores and you can tell this ain't harvesting season as the farm produce weren't in abandunce. There was a particular grocery store named  'The Dudleys grocery's' we checked in and we saw two old white people,male and female and it automatically ringed to us they are couples and enough to be someone grandparents. We said our hellos and went on taking a good look at the store. The old man approached us slowly and looked at us particularly me.
"You black." He said which made me confused why he noticed my skin colour.
"What did you say?" Elijah asked with an angry tone stepping forward towards him.
"Am..am sorry kiddo...didn't mean to offend you but we rarely see coloured people here." He said as he adjusted his eye glasses on his wrinkled face.
"You gotta a problem with that?" Elijah asked.
"Dear what's going on there?" His wife asked from across the counter desk.
"Nothing...it's fine." The old man replied.
"Frank...frank...come over here." I heard the old woman calling out someone sensing the hostile atmosphere.
"What's up grandma?" I heard a reply and we all looked at where the voice came from and saw a handsome tall white teen boy appearing from the door behind the counter. He worn a black beenie but you could still see some blonde hair strands underneath.
"Grandpa are they our customers?" He asked smiling and walked towards us and noticed he had blue eyes. He wore a long sleeve red shirt with black checked boxes with a tight blue jeans and black boots. He was tall as Elijah and more mascular than him perhaps from working in the farm.
Just when he wanted to stretch his hand to Elijah for a handshake,Elijah turned away rudely to face me.
"Let's get out of this fucking racist store." He said to me throwing his arm over my shoulder in a protective manner.
"Guys...wait...why are you accusing our store of being racist?" The teen boy asked touching Elijah's shoulder.

"So you two are new here?... haven't seen you guys around?" Frank asked us.
"We here for a short stay." I replied.
"So what can we do for you guys?..as you can see nothing much in the store but we are prepping for planting season in our farm." Jane explained to us.
"Then we will be back on your harvest season,come on let's get out of here." Elijah rudely replied.

"So supposedly you back for harvest season....you might find our grocery store closed or running on a small scale to cut the cost coz anyway when we get to senior year it will be more challenging to run the farm estate." Frank said.
"That sucks." Elijah said.
"Are your produce organic or Genetic modified organisms?" I asked them.
"It's organic and even our breed of animals like poultry are not genetic modified." Jane replied.

"You can visit our farm if you like." Frank said to me.

"Believe me you were our first customers today and probably the last...we rarely get customers here." Frank said. He seemed to be more persistence to tour us on their farm.

"Really?" Jane said rolling her eyes.

"Now look where you got us into." Elijah said as we drove behind the Dudley's family double cabin car which is leading us to their farm. They had closed the store and decided to treat us for lunch in their farm.

"They are strangers we barely know of them." He said back.
"Who were kind enough to give us farm tour and treating us for lunch?" I said to him.
"Huh that's if we don't end up in a family of cannibals and making us their lunch!" Elijah said in a loud voice.

We followed the Dudley's car leading us past the green land to a grey like stoned house mansion. We alighted from our cars and they welcomed us inside their home and immediately started informing us of their family history from their family portraits. Apparently their farm was passed down from generation to generation that's why their mansion looked like a colonial era mansion.
Frank always gave me  weird looks while Jane was just talkative and super nice to us. They gave us a farm tour and saw their cattles,poultry and plantation fields which they are about to start planting.
"You have this vast lands with healthy animals and doing some organic farming... it's hard to believe all this might go away." I said.
"Yeah business wise we doing bad, it's a cutthroat competition down here." Frank replied me as Jane managed to pull Elijah away from me which clearly didn't please him and off they went to the field where the horses are grazing.

On the red carpet one interviewer asked Manuel's mum how she will run the business and the future of it and Manuel's mum replied that her partner is actually her family member and it's a family business and when my mum was asked about about bringing different cultural influence on the restaurant. She just said it's amazing experience and unique just like bringing different colours to colour a pale space.

"Hey you guys." We heard Manuel voice interrupting us.
"What are you gossiping here?" Cecelia asked us as she approached us with Manuel,Philip and Elijah.

"So you ready to go home?" Manuel asked me as elizabeth will go home with his parents just like Elijah,Philip and Cecelia.
Manuel drove me here so he is driving me back home.
"Let's go guys." Philip said.
"Can we talk?" I asked Elijah who nodded.
"Manuel I find you at the parking lot." I added.
"Don't stay too long." Manuel replied as he left with the group leaving me alone with Elijah.
"Babe you ok?" I asked Elijah looking at him.
