I hurried out of my office when it was time for lunch, in hopes to catch Hermione on the way to discuss this whole ordeal I've gotten myself muddled with.

I didn't exactly know if I was excited to actually do something other then desk work which I've been man handling for a month. Or, if I was completely gutted with the fact I have to share my time with a woman I've hated for all these years.

Even though Draco and I are friends now doesn't mean I have to be acquaintances with his mother...right?

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a voice which made me turn on my heels. I saw Hermione pushing her way through the crowds of people.

She worked in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement which was a while away from where I am which explained her flustered look.

"There you are Nova. Merlin I'm going to go crazy if another person asks for an autograph." The brunette stopped in front of me panting, making me laugh slightly at her ruffled hair.

"Did you go through a tornado on your way?" I jokingly asked and Hermione raised an eyebrow, rolling her eyes before trying to flatten down her hair.

"Might as well call it that." She huffed.

"Mhm I don't doubt, anyway lunch? I need to tell you something." I rushed out while fiddling with my fingers, she gave me a contemplative look before nodding her head.

"Sure, whatever's on your mind I need to know."

When Hermione and I finally took our seats in the atrium of the ministry with a try of food in-front of both of us, she immediately gave me a pointed look.

"Please do tell, Nova. I'm fairly curious now given your entire expression, I haven't seen you this distraught for months." She gave me a sympathetic smile as she broke of her Panera Bread; putting it in her mouth delicately.

I on the other hand, hardly touched my food, I only began to shuffle it around on my plate. "So Kingsley has finally decided to give me a case to study that isn't desk work." I started.

Hermione smiled at me, "Well that's great.. isn't it?"

"I mean don't get me wrong it is, but he's assigned me a colleague who I'm meant to study this case with."

I looked at Hermione's expression and something told me she isn't entirely sure why I was so distraught, so I sighed and continued. "Narcissa Black, is the person who is going to study this case with me."

I saw her eyes widen before she adjusted her posture, "Mhm- yes- Miss Black. I'm quite friendly with her now, but I can see why you're so worked up about this, let me tell you something, Nova. Narcissa isn't the person she was 3 years ago, she's changed for the better. More friendly and a great person to talk to mind you." She chuckled to herself which made me raise my eyebrows in surprise.

"She told me you both were friendly, why didn't you say anything?"

"Well I didn't think it was that important, because we work in the same department and with seeing each other basically everyday we both got tired of glaring daggers at one another. Nothing special."

I finally took a bite of my spaghetti and swallowed before answering, "Well that's a sudden surprise-"

"Tell me about it." Hermione interrupted with a drawl.

I glared at her apologetic look before smiling and continuing my statement. "I just don't know if I can look at her and not remember that day, the horrid memories still haunt my dreams mind you. But that's not even the half of it, Kingsley wants us both to go to Spain and Ireland to get information on this 'Mystery Potion' for 2 months and we leave tomorrow! and it's Teddy's birthday as well."
