*dark themes* this chapter covers a lot of Nova's past.
NOVA ROSELLE

Saturday, 4:00PM
"Wake up, flower."
I groaned and turned over, ignoring the voices as my head continued to pound painfully, as if a knife had been scraping at my skull for the past few hours.
"Flower, I know you can hear me." The voice cackled evilly.
I ignored it, as I was just too tired to even think about opening my eyes.
"Open your eyes."
"Open them."
It became louder, irritating me which eventually led to my eyes fluttering, but not opening fully.
Pain enveloped my body still, making the simplest moves I make excruciating. But the voice didn't hold back as it travelled through my ears, making my eardrums practically burst.
My eyelids fluttered again and eventually they opened. I was welcomed by a bright light which made me hiss, I brought my arm up and shielded my eyes.
"Ah, so you are awake after all." The voice simpered, it's tone cold and sarcastic.
I slowly let my arm fall and I blinked a few times, letting them adjust. It was then I realised who's voice was pestering me this whole time and fear emitted my senses.
"Alex..." I held in a harsh breath as I stared at the person whom is supposed to be dead. His brown hair was matted with blood and his face also had so dry splotches. His clothes were torn and his skin was caked with dirt. Just like the last time I saw him, which was 6 years ago.
"Flower..." He mimicked, using the nickname he gave me all them years ago when my father introduced us. "Long time no see, mhm? You've developed into a beautiful woman." He brought his hand up to my cheek and grazed it across my skin, however his touch was invisible.
I jerked my head away stiffly and swallowed, "Well I'm not 15 anymore, Alexander." I said coldly, sparing him a glare.
He smirked and drummed his fingers on the side of his face. "Obviously not. I just wish things had gone a different way for us then they did."
My face soured and I scoffed. "Really? You ruined me. I was fifteen, Alex! Fifteen! You brought what happened to you on yourself." I seethed. "It was the only way I could get away from you."
"By pushing me off a bridge?" He laughed, the noise was cruel and it made an unpleasant shiver crawl up my spine. "My my you really aren't innocent. You never really was were you?"
I swallowed harshly and turned away from him and finally looking at my surrounding. It was dark and tree's surrounded us, noises creaked beyond them and crows swarmed the air in a flock. It looked as though it would be cold, but my skin was scorching hot.
"I was. Way before I met you, I was. You took away my innocence the day you put something into my drink and led me into a back room." I whispered, closing my eyes as awful memories filled my mind. "You are the reason I cannot trust anyone. You're the reason I was scared all those years ago, I couldn't tell anyone because I was scared of you. It's pathetic really now that I think back on it. You're a manipulative bastard, Alex." I glared at him and saw his face harden.
