NOVA ROSELLE

two months later...

———

It's been two months since Narcissa and I came back from Ireland. And a month since it's been marked officially a closed case. Lucius and his accomplices were declared guilty and sent to Azkaban for life. As well as Kingsley, the traitor, the murderer. Even though the case left physical and mental scars on both of us, we couldn't be happier in the place we are now.

We found out a lot during the month of trials, through memories and owls that the ministry seemed to collectively find that were passed between Spain and London, more importantly Mr Morales and Kingsley. They found that Mr Morales and Druella were very close before her untimely death and before he was minister. He worked along side her in potion-making, so when she made the potion, he knew about it and that's why he was able to re-make it and use it to kill. It was sick and confusing how Druella never mentioned this when we went. However, it was likely she probably didn't know Mr Morales' participation.

And of course, Lucius was found guilty immediately of murdering 4 people since his escape. Mr and Mrs Wilson, the potion master and the poor boy who got washed up in the mess. And of course feeding Amor Wilson and I the potion.

Finally, thee muggles from the mental institution were reportedly better than ever, they were all discharged within a week of giving them the cure.  When I found out, I couldn't help but jump for joy at the news.

It was over now, officially over.

As of now, I was packing up my apartment ready to move out of it and into a new fresh start.

Narcissa and I got the keys to our house, and were moving in pronto. It was a cottage house that reminded me of the one we stayed at in Ireland but bigger and it had a different style, but the landscape was a spit image. As soon as we saw it, we placed a bid straight away and got it. It was a miracle to say the least.

"Hello, Love." I heard Narcissa's voice from the doorway of my apartment and smiled as I turned my head to face her. "You've been busy." Her eyes roamed my now empty apartment that only consisted of the furniture that came with it.

"Can't you blame me? I'm too eager to move into our home."  I stood up as I finished tapping the last of the boxes and brushed off my jeans. "Have you done your packing?" I raised an eyebrow as I moved towards her, wrapping my arms around her neck, my fingers tangling in her blonde hair.

"Mhm, all my belongings are at the house already, I came to pick you up." She then dug into her pockets and pulled out a set of keys, car keys.

My jaw dropped and I stared wide eyed between her and the keys. "You brought a car? And drove it here?" I questioned, not even believing that this woman who, didn't even know what a car was 3 months ago, could be capable of buying one more so driving it.

She gave me a mock offended look. "You wound me, Mi Alma. I know I wasn't the brightest on the whole car situation at the start, but after taking lessons with our favourite bookworm, I got the hang of it and since we are owning a house together why not own a moving metal box too?"

I laughed at her, I still never let her live down the way she used to not understand muggle things, so naturally she went along with it and it made me smile. It was our inside joke above all. "Do you even have a legal license to drive?" I quizzed her and she sighed, rolling her eyes as she put her hand in her pocket again and pulled out a card.
