Never Date a Writer

Never date a writer
You will fall off the edge of the world when you're caught up in the whirlwind of their romance
And drop you like it meant nothing.

Never date a writer
Whose words are mere beads upon a necklace
Used to strangle you with

Never date a writer
For even dried flowers can seem so alive

Never date a writer
Who will turn crystals out of stones

Never date a writer
Who are magicians with illusionistic power

Never date a writer
Who can fabricate the perfect romance, and mean none of it.

And never date a lawyer
Because she will find everything out.
