His family is currently in debt badly and have been for the last 5 years the only reason they haven't lost their Farm is because of a generous "pretty lady" as he calls her who gave them what she considered pocket change that helped them quite a bit
He joined Rhode Island's a few years ago as they promised to clear his family of debt if he helped them
Also fun fact when he goes to sleep he curls up with his tail like a cat does
