A few days later, Acelina receives a note from Percy. When she opens the memo, she frowns. It takes her a few moments to realise it's written in Ancient Runes. It has been years since she last translated them – her last translation must have been her N.E.W.T. She manages to translate it eventually and is pleased to read Percy has managed to get a hold on the job overseeing the cases of the fake family trees.

One part completed, one more to go.

They still haven't found a way to communicate with the employees whose family trees have turned out to be fake. Acelina's brain has been working overtime to find a solution but she hasn't come up with anything yet. Due to her mother's frequent dinner parties and gatherings, she has figured out which Ministry official has sided with Voldemort and which hasn't.

Umbridge is keen on rounding up as many Muggle-Borns as possible. The woman has scheduled trials every other day while Acelina spends her days making sure the transcripts are written out and sent off, sitting in dull meetings, and managing Umbridge's schedule.

It's Friday morning when a solution to her problem reveals itself. Acelina is walking through the Atrium with Marcus. Her fiancé has his arm wrapped possessively around her waist. They are stopped by a man appearing in front of them.

"Ms Yaxley? Delivery for you."

The man holds out a small package and Acelina takes it from him as Marcus eyes the man.

"If you could sign here, and here. Thank you. Have a nice day."

Once she has signed off on the delivery, the man speeds off again. Marcus is muttering something under his breath when it hits Acelina all of a sudden. She quickly says goodbye to Marcus, letting him kiss her, before taking off to the elevators.

She is slightly out of breath when she reaches Percy's office. The man himself is about to exit but when he sees Acelina, he opens the door again. Acelina quickly steps into the office and once the door has closed, she bursts out: "Couriers."

Percy's eyes widen in realisation and Acelina can't help but beam at his reaction.

"Couriers roam the Ministry without anyone really paying attention to them. Most departments communicate through interdepartmental memos, yes, but parcels are being delivered by courier since owls are no good inside."

"We will need someone as a courier," Percy nods, "But who?"

Acelina smiles, "I know someone. Someone I trust. I will talk to them."

Percy grabs her elbow. Startled, Acelina lets him as she looks at him in confusion. The man shakes his head.

"There is no time for that now. You need to head back to Umbridge's office. Talk to them at a time Umbridge is not expecting you. We need to keep under the radar and continue our normal jobs."

Acelina nods. Percy releases her arm and grabs a folder off his desk.

"Here, this needed to be delivered to Umbridge anyway. It can be your excuse for being late if she asks."

After taking the folder, Acelina bids the man goodbye and heads to Umbridge's office. The whole day, she can't wait until it's five o'clock. After wishing Umbridge a good evening, Acelina gathers her things and heads to the Post Office.

The wizard behind the counter of the Post Office looks up with a bored expression. Acelina pulls out her kindest smile and asks politely: "Is Hollie Devane on duty today?"

Before the man can answer, a voice from behind him exclaims: "Acelina Yaxley! How good to see you!"

Acelina has to restrain herself from laughing when the man rolls his eyes. A strawberry-blonde head belonging to the witch Acelina is looking for pops up from between the rows of the Post Office. The woman smiles brightly when she spots Acelina. They weren't sorted in the same house back at Hogwarts – Hollie being a Hufflepuff – but they shared a few N.E.W.T. classes. Due to the small number of students, they ended up working together more than a few times and had become good friends.
