Dreams do come true

Opportunity comes along

All of a sudden the director and casting agent come in

Director: Our female lead has just dropped out and is in hospital we don't know when she'll come out, so she said just to replace her, so you guys have this week off till we find someone

Chris: Why don't you audition some of the actors you have here first before opening to the public

CA (casting agent): That's an idea

Director: Sure, I will make an announcement, we will do the auditions tomorrow, Y/N I will see you there

Y/N: Wait what?

Chris: I think you have a chance for the lead role

Y/N: I'm not prepared

Chris: You could come back to mine and I can help you practice

Y/N: No don't worry I'll be fine, I don't want to waste your time

Chris: You won't be, I have the day off

Y/N: Fine, if you insist

Chris: Great, let's go

We both go to Chris's house

Y/N: Wow, this place is nice

Chris: Thanks, do you want anything to drink

Y/N: Water please

Chris: So, you ready to practice

Y/N: Bit nervous, but I'll be okay

We practiced for a while

Chris: How about we order pizza? My treat

Y/N: Sure

Chris: Cheese pizza alright?

Y/N: Yeah

Chris passes me the remote

Chris: Here pick a movie

Y/N: Okay, how about (fav movie)?

Chris: Great

We watched the film and ate pizza, but didn't realise we were slowly moving closer to each other

We talked during the film getting to know each other better

By the end of the film my head was on Chris's shoulder and his arm was around me

Y/N: I should probably get home now I have the audition tomorrow

Chris: Yeah, also don't stress you'll do amazing

Y/N: Thanks for today it was a lot of help

Chris: No problem, anytime

Y/N: I guess I'll see you tomorrow

Chris: Yeah see you tomorrow

I went home and flopped onto my bed thinking about how helpful Chris was
