Chris's POV
Lily is now 1 month old and me and Y/N were obsessed, we always offered to babysit whenever we could even though it wasn't necessary, this little girl always seemed to put a smile on both of our faces, after Lily was born we both decided we wanted a child of our own, so we've been trying whenever possible
Mine and Y/N's family met when we hosted a BBQ in our backyard just after Lily was born, our families got on well and my mom and Claire seemed to hit it off very well as they were now spending time together every week, everything seemed to be going perfect
Me and Y/N had been together for over a year now and I knew I was in love with her, and I didn't want to waste any time on proposing as I have made that mistake before, but this time I knew Y/N was the one for me
Y/N and Rebecca were out for the day, so I went over to Shaun's and Rebecca's to spend some time with Shaun since the Patriots were playing and I got to spend some time with Lily too
Shaun: So, how's everything with you and Y/N?
Chris: Good, I've actually been thinking about proposing
Shaun: Really? That's great
Chris: Thanks, I know that Y/N is the one for me and I don't want to waste any more time I know that from experience
Shaun: Well, how are you planning to propose?
Chris: I don't know, I just don't want it to be predictable you know
Shaun: I get what you mean, so no candle lit dinner malarkey, how about something Y/N could never say no to?
Me and Shaun turned to face Lily who was bouncing in her bouncer smiling at us and I knew what I was going to do
