Natalie Manning's POV

"Woah, okay...! Monique help me lay him back please. Check his stats now." I ordered as Jay fell forward and slumped against my front.

We gently layed him back and Monique started an IV drip.

I attached an oxygen monitor to Jay's finger and listened to his breathing with my stethoscope.

"Chest and airway sound clear." I reported, curling my stethoscope back behind my neck.

I then paged Will and checked Jay's bloodwork, which had just come back from the lab. Monique had taken a sample of it earlier.

"Natalie?" Will asked as he walked in, his eyes instantly flushing with concern.

"He's okay Will. He just passed out, and by the looks of his blood work it's just from stress." I said, reading off of my chart.

"Who could blame him?" Will replied, calmly walking to his brother's bedside. 

"Oh, by the way, I just heard from the O.R. Erin will be getting out of surgery soon. Everything went perfectly. She should be in hospital for a few weeks but she's expected to make a full recovery." He said, looking up at me.

"Thank god for that." I breathed a sigh of relief for Erin, as she is a good friend of mine.

*COUGH* *COUGH*

Jay screwed up his face and cleared his throat as he reopened his eyes and took in his surroundings.

"W..where's Erin?" Suppose we weren't surprised that this was the first thing he asked.

"She's getting out of surgery now. She's gonna be fine Jay. You both are." I said with a smile.

All Jay could do, was breathe a huge sigh of relief...
