Jennie POV

"You can all go ahead inside," Lex said to all of us as we are in front of the women's headquarters. "I'll just get something first. I'll be fast."

"Okay," I nodded. "Are you sure it's fine with you to explain it all here? Or are you more comfortable somewhere?"

"No, it's fine," he smiled and pointed his index finger to the direction where he's going. "I'll go now."

I nodded and frowned a little.

Why does his smile has some familiar vibes?

We entered our place and we immediately placed down our things and plopped down on the sofa.

"I'm nervous," I sighed. "Can I take it?"

They both looked at me.

"I mean whatever he's gonna say about Rosie," I said.

"Even if we can't, we should," Jisoo put her hand on my knee as she's sitting beside me. "For Chaeng."

"Right," I smiled. "We'll make sure we will always be by her side. I just wish she's here, right now."

"Me too," Lisa sighed and stood up, going to the kitchen. "I would really like to just barge in that VNtech building now but without proper planning, I'll just make the situation worst."

"Coffee? Tea?" she added as she opens the cupboard. "Or what?"

"Anything," I said. "Thanks."

"Okay, I'll just mix it all for you," she said seriously as she is focused on putting water in the mug.

"Lisa!" I scoffed, rolling my eyes at her. "Thanks for lighting up the mood but that's just completely gross."

"Sorry," she chuckled.

"Actually, try mixing it for yourself," Jisoo challenged.

"What? Ew, no."

While Jisoo is snickering at her, we heard a knock on the door.

"That's probably Lex," Jisoo said as she stood up and walked towards the door, opening it.

"Hi," Lex appeared by the entrance, smiling awkwardly. "I just brought some files."

"Come in," Jisoo said as she guided him towards the dining table.

We all settled on our seats as Lisa places the drinks on the table.
