Travis POV:
I woke up and rolled around a little before opening my eyes. I sat up and looked around my room. The bright sun wasn't shining from my window. I got up to look outside. It was foggy. I didn't mind it much, I loved fog. "TRAVIS!" I heard my name called. I opened the door to..my dad downstairs. Fuck. "Breakfast is ready. Your mother is asleep so I'll be taking you to school." He said very monotone. I sat down and ate as fast as I could. I didn't want to give him more time to lecture me or find ways to be mad at me.

"Travis" he randomly spoke. "Yes father?" I said back. "How about you where something more, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗹𝘆 today." I paused. Manly? What the fuck did that mean? "Uh like..?" I stopped eating for a moment to bring my attention towards him. "Well, son. You're always wearing such girl colors. Purples and pinks aren't boy colors." Boy colors? Seriously? "Oh. Uh of course sir." That was such a load of bullshit.

I finished my food and went upstairs to change out of my pjs. I slipped on a black shirt and black hoodie along with some blue jeans. I enjoyed baggy clothes but purple was my favorite color. At least I got to wear blue. Blue reminded me of 𝗵𝗶𝗺.

I pulled the sleeves down covering my hands. I went to the bathroom and fixed up my hair. Pushing the fluff down as much as I could. I had pretty thick fluffy hair from my mother. I looked into my tired eyes into the mirror. My eye bags were bigger then my god damn future. I put on my rosary. I slipped on my shoes. I grabbed my backpack and walked down stairs slowly. My hands gliding against the spindles. I moved slow and quiet. Too many creeks made father upset. Said I was going to break the stairs. "Are you finally ready boy?" He said, his arms crossed and tapping his foot. "Yes sir."

Sal POV:
I was walking with Larry, Todd and ash to our lockers when ash stopped. "Oh hey we should go, all of us" she pointed at a colorful poster. Prom? "Dude I totally forgot prom was even a thing" Larry chuckled. "All of us?" I said. Ash smiled and turned to me. "Yea come on it'll be fun all together" I saw Larry smile "yea let's cause fucking chaos" he said laughing. Ash smiled more as if that was her implied idea the whole time. "Sounds fun, Neil is out with family for the next two weeks so we could totally go all together" everyone already seemed set on the idea. "Yea I guess, I've never been to one" Ash looked at me "oh don't worry we'll have tons of fun!" She said.

"Fun?" Travis said from behind her. "Travis! Hey are you doing anything—" Ash looked back at the poster. "—This Friday?" Travis seemed to take a step back. Ashley quickly realized she was looking at a prom poster, asking if he was free. During prom. "Uh—" before he could say anymore Ash continued. "Shit I didn't mean like that-" she quickly said. "I mean we were all going to go together" Travis seemed to relax. "Oh—" he laughed a bit. "sure but why prom? Isn't it sorta boring?" He said. I noticed he wasn't wearing what he usually was. He was wearing darker colors. He looked exhausted.

"That's the point, we cause chaos duh" Larry said with a smirk. "Doesn't that sound a little-.." he moved around a little trying to find the words."dangerous?—" he said hesitantly. "Oh come on don't be a baby Traaavy" Larry said laughing. Travy? Did he really just call him travy? Since when does he call him nicknames like that. "Ugh fine" Travis ignored it? I don't know why it upset me so much? Get a grip sal it's just a nickname..just a nickname. We continued our way to our classes.
