Yet again, italics is Third Person POV in the Upside Down, normal don't is Y/n POV.
My vision is starting to become less blurry, but my ears are still ringing.
I see that the wall in front of us is starting to crack open. I really hate this Demogorgon.
Dustin (?) Whispers, "Demogorgon."
The men holding the boys all simultaneously release them, and draw their guns.
They open fire.
The boys start screaming, and Dustin picks up El while Lucas ings my arm around his shoulder and Mike dashes ahead.
The pair make their way inside the building and start looking around for any sign of anything.
They follow the blood droplets into a room, and start looking around. Joyce looks to one side and sees a skull, covered in the weird vines that covers everything in this place.
Hopper takes a few steps forward, and almost steps on a teenage girl who's not decomposed yet.
Joyce moves her flashlight along the wall until the beam lands on a familiar face.
"Will!"
He has one of the vines attached to his mouth, and is sitting upright against the wall.
"Will!"
Hopper moves forward, and grabs his shoulders.
"Get him out of there." Joyce kept saying, trying not to cry.
Hopper got a firm grip on the vine, and started pulling back.
Once it was out, he threw it on the ground.
The thing started moving and writhing around on the ground, but stopped once Hopper opened fire on it.
We were rushing through the building, trying to avoid anything dangerous.
We turn into a classroom and Lucas locks the door behind us.
I'm able to walk again by this time, but I'm still a little unsteady.
Dustin places El on one of the tables at the back of the room.
Mike holds her hand. "Just hold on a little longer, okay? He's gone, the bad man's gone. We'll be home soon. My mom, she'll get you her own bed, and you can eat as many Eggos as you want. And...we can go to the Snow Ball."
El sniffles. "Promise?"
"Promise."
The Demogorgon roars outside, and Mike jumps away.
There is still gunfire outside, so at least one person is still alive.
The gunfire stops.
"Is-is it dead?" Dustin asks no one in particular.
The door crashes open, with the chittering Demogorgon on top of it.
No Dustin, no he is not dead. I tell him telepathically.
He probably would have gave me the finger, but we were all a little scared out of our minds at the moment.
"Go go go go go!" Mike shouts.
"Get the Wrist Rocket, now!" Dustin screeches.
Lucas hurriedly starts searching for the slingshot.
I stay where I am, supporting myself against the counter, scrutinizing the monster before me.
Lucas loads the band, and draws his arm back.
He hits him in the head, but all it does is p*ss the thing off even more.
The monster creeps ever closer, while Dustin and Mike are shouting 'kill it.'
How would Lucas kill a MONSTER from a FRICKING BOARD GAME with a slingshot, of all things.
I decide to intervene.
I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and grab hold of the Demogorgon's mind.
I force him to stop moving, to which he answers with a roar that rings throughout my brain.
I have no idea how I'm going to kill this thing, but this is buying me time that I so desperately need. Only problem is I can feel the blood running down my nose, and I can feel a slight wave of dizziness hit me.
I'm not going to last much longer.
Lucas shoots another rock at it as my concentration breaks.
The monster goes flying backwards.
But not by my power, and certainly not by Lucas's Wrist Rocket. So that could be only one thing.
Eleven.
The boys stumble back as El walks between them, blood running out of her nose, eyebrows furrowed in concentration.
"Eleven stop!" Mike moves to stop her, but El throws her hand out and pushes him backwards as she continues walking towards the thing.
"El!" I cry out. I try to walk towards her but fall forwards. Hello, ground. "El!"
She ignores me.
She stops a few feet in front of the Demogorgon, and faces us with a sad smile.
"Goodbye Mike."
I feel myself start crying. "El...."
She looks at me. I love you, Y/n. You'll always be my sister.
I start crying even harder now. Dustin walks over and wraps an arm around my shoulders, supporting me and comforting me at the same time.
She turns back to the Demogorgon and raises her hand.
The creature roars, and we all cover our ears.
I'm sure all of us could hear her screaming.
The Demogorgon dissolves into dust (looks like Thanos paid Hawkins a visit. I'll stop now.) And it surrounds El.
When we uncover our ears, the monster and El are gone.
Mike runs forward. "El! El!"
"Eleven!"
"El?"
"Eleven!?"
"El!"
They all start yelling for El.
"You guys...." I start, and I try to move towards them, but my dizzy spell catches up to me, and I collapse.
"Y/n!"
Is the last thing I hear before I black out.
Oh goodness, so close but yet so far. This story took a lot more time then I thought it would, but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out so far. Thanks for reading, and see you next week, ya Flayed Demodogs.
