Vanessa's POV

Riker didn't answer when I snapped back into reality. He was there. When we were in a crash he was there.

"Riker.. Answer me, have we met before?" I ask again.

He shrugs. "No I don't remember it was probably someone els.

I start to cry a bit. How could he not remember me? I go upstairs and burst into Rydels room sobbing by now.

"V, what's wrong?" She asks.

Ratliff leaves. She gives me a hug and I tell her everything.

"Vanessa. Riker did have an accident after he came home from New York," she tells me.

"What happened?" I question.

"Well, he was playing hockey a week after he came back and he fell and hit his head, he was fine but I guess he forgot about you."

"Oh," I say. I stop crying, then we go back downstairs.

But downstairs there was a new face in the Lynch house hold.

She had long straight dirty blonde hair, bright blue eyes, glasses, she was a bit shorter than Riker. Riker had his arm around her. I think this is his girlfriend.

"Hey guys," Riker says when we walk down.

"Who is this?" I ask and smile at the unfamiliar girl.

"This is Amanda," Riker says wrapping his arm around her waist.

She smiles at me. I can't help but feel a bit jealous. Well I guess he can't remember. I might even be lost in my mind.

Riker offers Amanda to sleepover, and she agrees. We are now hanging out in Rydels room.

We were painting our nails and gossiping about boys.

We get to know eachother a bit more and Amanda is a really nice girl. I didn't like her before because I was a bit jealous that she is dating Riker. But if he makes her happy then I'm happy because she is so nice.

We ended up watching a movie then going to bed.

(Next day sorry it was boring)

Rydels POV

This morning I woke up, took a shower, said bye to the girls when they left. I'm alone again. Well the only girl that is.

I was in my room. I already was dressed and I was reading a magazine on my bed. I couldn't focus. Ratliff likes me! He likes me! I like him! But he is dating Kelly. I need to tell someone IM DYING!!! But I won't. I cant, I can't because Riker will end up knowing then he will kill Ellington. Then I will have nobody to love and I will be a beautiful blonde with no lover.

I won't tell anybody.

I wont.

Later on I invite the girls to hangout again but nobody can come accept Ariel. I decide to let her come over because I wanna get to know her a little bit more.

Sounds like a crush-

When Ariel comes over, we chat for a bit. We went to Starbucks then we came back and were reading magazines again.

"How are things with you and Rocky?" I question her.

"Things are good. I mean, we haven't went out on our first date yet. We have only been dating for about a week." she explains.

I nod and put on some music.

"How are things with you and Ratliff?" She asks and I freeze. Ny eyes go big and my whole body heats up. Ny palms are sweaty and I'm shaking.

"Whaaaaaat?"I say.

"It's obvious that you two like each other there is no denying it." she says.

"Okay fine!" I blurt out. "Ratliff and I do like each other- but it's complicated, I think he still has feelings for another girl," I sigh.

"Wait did he admit to liking you?" She asks. I nod. I just told her. I'm dumb.

"Well ask him if he is dating that girl, and if not then you can go out and if he is with someone tell him to break up with her. Simple."

"It's not that easy." I reply in doubt.

"Just try it. Everything happens for a reason."
